What a great race! Jakob Ingebrigsten is a champion !!!

I enjoyed seeing Luis Grijalva finish fourth in this race, though a higher placing would have been even nicer. He used to attend Armijo High School in Fairfield, CA. I lived about five blocks from the school, and I would sometimes see Luis running near the campus or on the overpass over the railroad tracks. He was an outstanding high school runner, of course, and even better at NAU. Still, seeing him compete in the Olympics and the World Championships is a wonderment. Best of luck, sir!

Amazing, Grijalva nice, strong Man

He raced near the back, with only three runners behind him. He then moved up to mid pack, racing on the outside of rivals, then went wide to get a cup of water. That cost him some grounds, but he rejoined the group to be in contention with a few laps to go. He pulled away to win convincingly and that tells you he was much the best.

Grijalva´s race was the most intelligent one ; he´s saved a lot of energy as he kept close to the inner line all the time , appart from this, his stride was relaxed ; his poise , elgegant and his attittude ,serene, he did not dispair on the final sprint and arrived on the third position,great! greetings Bro ,from Colombia.

He led for the last three laps and slowly started taking the steam out of everyone, in the end only he had that reserve.

Ingebrigsten´s stride is so very wide ,even if his legs are heavier that those of his opponents , this proves an extraordinary strength in his cuadriceps to extend his knees Full speed-ahead !
