Try the initial guidline with the lever closed on the clipper n then trimmer n shaver underneath. It’s help take that bald line out way easier n make the whole fading process easier

The thought process for me to get to this video was more along the lines of living in the woods and starting my transformation to savage animal But now living as a civilized human I will still use this fade technique tomorrow morning

Looks way better plus the back was grown in more so that helped with the shape.

Also get a clipper with a taper blade to help with all the detail work. It’s way more forgiving
