this is the original tweet accusing him for context: twitter.com/VS_Experiences/status/1378068779054235650 i think most of the stuff has been debunked though
None of it was ''deboonked'' and it's not about consentual sex and regret, it's about the way he treats women be it because of his own insecurities and paranoia and inability to commit and introverted nature now knowing how to handle his sorta rockstar life. That's the point. A group of women stepped forward, because, well, it happens.
@@Skyrilla and you say this based off what? EDIT: oh wait you've spammed this on like every single comment, so you're either a bot or a massively unreasonable person
@@nonsensicalfox Are you fucking serious? Spreading awareness means one has to be a ''bot'' or a ''massively unreasonable person''? I am responding to people's comments, why is that illegal now when it's an angle you dislike? You fucking people seriously jesus christ... :|
@@Skyrilla The email logs have been proven to be fabricated by multiple community members, and logs from one of his ex girlfriend’s was used without her permission and out of context, first off. Secondly, even if all the evidence WAS true, he did nothing illegal or against terms of service for any websites he uses for content, so why does this need to be public exactly? Worst case scenario is he acts like a complete dipshit in romantic relationships. Why does this have to be aired publicly? I’ll tell you why, it’s part of a smear campaign that has been happening for months by people that he has gotten on the wrong side of, from an ex-Vinesauce member that stole charity money to people he’s had negative interactions with in the past.
@@Skyrilla Uhhh, I'm pretty sure it's been debunked already. Also, I'm pretty certain that the audio isn't actually Vinny speaking and is just a bunch of his clips (most likely from past streams) being mixed which explains _a lot_ . I'm on Vinny's side here. EDIT: After taking a closer listen, the audio was more of a crappy impersonation of Vinny rather than bits of audio clips from his streams being edited to sound like he's saying something...
To be honest, I saw a lot of his fans saying stuff like: "If the evidence is real, I'm really disappointed in Vinny." I have no idea what their problem is, though.

@@Takokujin07 even if he did give it to her he may not have even known he had it cuz it’s a symptomatic in most males meaning most people don’t even know they have it unless they are tested for it even if that’s true it doesn’t make him a terrible person IMO I mean they both agreed to no condom and that’s just if it’s true
@@Frozbroz No that’s what I mean, the accusation is that he knew he had it and gave it to her, which just seems out of character for him. I personally think it’s sketchy and he really doesn’t deserve any of this
There's gonna come a point where no one will take any sexual allegations of any kind seriously anymore, because of the idiots who abuse it to hurt people they don't like.
I feel like the opposite is currently happening on twitter where no matter how ridiculous the allegations are twitter will believe in them. But yeah at some point people are gonna stop believing in any allegations, especially when every month 1 or 2 youtubers/streamers are being accused of something.
If someone has genuine, legal beef with somebody and has nothing to hide, why would they post it exclusively to Twitter and make no attempt to sue the person instead? What would a real victim hope to accomplish by starting a riot on Twitter, if not just for clout?
The funniest part about all of this is... not too long after Vinny said he was speaking to a lawyer and, presumably intending to pursue litigation for libel and slander, GeePM, Mandalor and a few other people suddenly issued an "apology". That, to me, means this entire thing is either entirely fabricated or blown SO far out of proportion.
afaik Red Bard is sticking to her guns on this for now, which is understandable considering the amount of vitriol that gets thrown her way. She'll come around, though; she's generally a reasonable person and more and more evidence is pointing to this being a smear campaign as time goes on
That's also how you know he's probably innocent of any actual wrongdoing. Unlike someone like David Dobrik and his goons who go into these manipulative string of videos.
Do not lie, Mandalore issued his apology even before vinny responded. GeePM did slightly before or around that time. Red Bard is the only one who doubled down however.
It’s hilarious to me how GeePM was trying to take the moral high ground when he himself used charity money to buy an arcade cabinet (was kicked from vinesauce because of it) and he’s still is friends with an actual groomer. He obviously still has a grudge against Vinny
@@wachie52 I think they happened around 2016-2018 so he was decently popular, the hole idea that a creator cant be in a relationship of any sorts with a fan is still dumb though.
Yeah this is one of those situations where I want to respect privacy But I also want the man to know that basically everyone that tried to strike him down has been tossed to the curb while he's still going full steam. I hope his lawyer gets a big pay day.
One of the absolute worst things about this situation is that smear cases like these WILL make it harder for ACTUAL victims of real abuse to share their stories. Actual abusers are out there, & the smart ones will see events like this & strategize plans to either silence their victims (probably via weaponizing their communities) or gaslighting them into believing seeking help isn’t possible. Petty A-holes who stir up false controversies don’t realize that what they’re doing is harmful & disgusting to more than just the person they’re targeting... they’re literally making it harder for future victims who are actually suffering under real life scumbags.
Yeah, I already think like this. I support victims up until the point they actually start saying the names of who they claim victimized them. At that point, I start to feel like my sympathy, a branch being offered in support, instead starts being sharpened so that they could throw me at someone they don't like. I don't hunt witches.
These people are easily sociopaths or psychopaths, people who find pleasure in others suffering and will work to manipulate if they are smart enough - more so if they benefit from it. If anything, the false accusations in the midst of the on-going 'cancel culture' is simply them trying to muddy the waters from a safe distance.
I heard about Dan and now Vinny and both times without seeing any of the evidence I just immediately thought of the ProJared situation where it turned out that the dude, although making some interesting life choices, was still treated absolutely unfairly. I'm glad people are learning to be more skeptical of this stuff immediately but it does create a crying wolf problem.
It's a good thing Charlie sticks around with the people he's interacted with when things go rough for them over allegations about them that are yet to be confirmed true or false. Also, I 100% doubt Vinny would ever do something like that.
Interesting fact based on my experience is that this might’ve started on Tumblr before moving to Twitter. Few weeks ago someone on Tumblr created a blog that was supposed to gather stories from victims that, according to the blog creator, “Vinny hurt”. The blog was eventually deleted before this whole thing happened on Twitter. I have this theory that whoever ran that blog was the same one behind VS_Experiences, and that they deleted the blog because they realised that Tumblr wasn’t the right place to start some drama and went to Twitter instead.
@@stitchfinger7678 I wish I could give you the sauce but like I said, the blog was deleted. I think it was called HoldVinesauceAccountable or something like that.
@@godess_call the vinesauce kiwi farms thread also mentions the tumblr, and from what the 4th woman in the doc claims, along with sgtfgt who was in a similar circumstance says, someone was deliberately trying to make women who've had contact with vinny think they've been assaulted and lied about what they said if they refused. its genuinely disgusting how many people are running so many gay ops against vinny.
I feel pretty strongly that Vinny is the only real victim here. I hope he actually lawyers up on it. Even if the accusations are somehow true, the "power argument" is complete nonsense when we're talking about full-grown ADULTS. If you choose to consent as an adult, you can't deem it sexual assault later. _That's_ a power imbalance.
yeah its a bit of a weird situation. like i think people should put more energy into things like that whole "i'm a famous youtuber and if you spend $200 on my classes you too will be famous" or twitch/youtube people that go out of their way to get their audience to do something dubious or something that only really benefits the famous person. Perhaps people should learn to be socially aware of when they are dealing with someone they look up to but i don't think it should be a social sin for two adults to do something they both consent to. and from what i understand vinny being open about what he wants in a relationship is fine too. I think it would hurt people MORE if he DIDN'T say what he was looking for even if the thing he wanted wasn't exactly your typical "lets date and maybe get married" thing.
@@mushyroom9569 Bruh. That is not what is happening here, that’s an entirely different scenario. Vinny is like the furthest thing from a twitch thot, he’s just a guy trying to make fun streams for people and these women (presuming any of their story is even true) are dragging his personal life into the public when he did nothing wrong
Lets be clear some content creators do deserve being canceled such as Ryan from AH, Cry, Carson, Tobuscus,Jaystation, that girl who hit and spit on her dog, pretty much half the Smash content creators etc. But this also opened the gates where malicious people are using false accusations as weapons where any interaction with fans is considered immoral like ProJared,Dan,RelaxAlax, and now Vinny. Now all the innocent creators have recovered but it wasnt easy. Ultimately it comes down to being objective, evaluating evidence, and not giving in to mob mentality as it were any other criminal case which luckily didnt happen here.
It's really sad because there are just multiple cases of false sexual assault/abuse/harrassment claims against content creators, that at this point, when someone actually does try to make legitimate claims against one, no one will believe them.
@@Dorf274 that’s true and it’s illegal in the state of California, but HPV is super difficult to screen for in men. So there’s a slim to none chance he even knew he had it when he transmitted it. Also it can remain dormant for years. It’s not like he pulled a Charlie sheen and knowingly transmitted a STD.
The allegations more specifically are knowingly transmitting an STD, using fans for sex then ghosting them, and threatening to use revenge porn. Then a number of minor things painting him in a bad light or as emotionally manipulative (shittalking his friends, using female fans as emotional dumpsters). The STD is the only criminal accusation and the most serious but that was the account with the most conflicting and suspicious information.
I've gotten mad at people for abusing their power within a community to have sex, but this isn't it. IF the allegations carry ANY weight at ALL, Vinny made it clear what his intentions were, and one of the "victims" didn't even know he was a streamer or a musician.
The most horrible thing about this is that every false accusation thrown at someone like Vinny makes it that much easier for an actual monster like Ryan Haywood to get away with actual predation.
Literally the only thing Vinny could possibly get prosecuted for is knowingly transmitting HPV to his partner, and that's IF he knowingly did it or IF he even knew he had it.
I feel like a lot of people are assuming HPV and HIV are the same thing. Those two diseases have literally nothing to do with eachother, aside from the similar name. HPV is a common viral infection that in 90% of cases resolves in at most 2 years, often much quicker, while HIV is something that can't currently be cured. The symptoms of HPV are also completely different from HIV. It's often completely symptomless, though it can sometimes cause warts and can predispose you to certain cancers.
@@noob19087 also, it is very unsymptomatic especially in males, and there is no test for HPV in men yet. Even if that part is true it's VERY unlikely he would have known. And is that even our business?? So we can just release people's very private health info to cancel them now?
Isn't the incubation for HPV 2 to 3 months before detection too and transmission too? The time period make no sense at all then in regards to the accusations, its like whoever threw them had no idea what HPV was, or was lying about where they got it. Vinny would have no way to know if he had it and the partner wouldn't know for quite awhile either, its very suspect. HPV is also so stupidly common most people who are sexually active get it at some point, its like the common cold of STDs.
There’s gonna be a time where you just rather be single because having a relationship these days will put you in a very dangerous situation. I legit hope something bad happens to the people who put the allegations against Vinny.
@@marcar9marcar972 Yeah he said he was going to return when it was settled and he was comfortable. He didn't leave on a "I might not be back" note but a "I'll be back." note.
I was worried to say something like this for fear of hurting real victims, but the idea that "no one would claim to be a victim when their not, because Its not glamorous to be a victim of abuse" just doesnt hold true, and its doing a lot of harm to real victims that people would seriously make false or exaggerated claims to spite others or to gain a pittance of clout. It really isnt great being a victim of abuse, Id never say that it is, but that fact doesnt stop people from making false claims. I will never think less of a person who has the strength to come out about their past trauma, but the internet has forced me to look at every claim with skepticism, and if claims are being made on in weirdly public places, long before authorities are in contact, I cant really help if my skepticism wins out. The best I can do is wait and not take sides until more definitive claims are made. In the cases of both Vinny and Danny, the claims are so frivilous from the beginning I almost feel insulted.
With Carson, I get it. The DMs were creepy as hell, he clearly knew he had a problem and reportedly did nothing to change that. I don't think he should lose his life, friends or career over it, but I still *get it*. I understand why there's a problem. The situation with Vinny though is fucking ridiculous. Let people fucking live.
Man the worst thing about these situations is even if everything is false, it still does irreparable harm to the accused, and actual abuse victims have to struggle that much harder for their claims to be legitimate. It really goes to show that words hurt more than sticks and stones when it comes to long term damage. I hope I live long enough to see people mature enough to lend a little social due process these issues, defusing false claims early and building a stronger case in legitimate claims, but at this rate I don’t know man.
When this sort of stuff happens you need to be willing to openly speak your mind. This sort of stuff happens because people say nothing about it. Also consider not voting for people who support this kind of stuff if you don’t want it to continue happening

Agreed poor Vinny, Cancel culture has become so normal now it’s crazy, it’s like almost every day someone is being accused of being a predator or people blowing something up that isn’t really a problem to begin with for clout.
Charlie really earned a lot of respect for this, sometimes he can be hit and miss these days but this was a very stand up move on his part. It's the kind of solidarity we need in the let's play/streamer community right now.
Jesus Christ, can Twitter leave my favorite youtubers alone? Call me carson got called a child groomer at 19 with a girl that was 2 months away from 17, this guy just had sex in general and is getting canceled, what next? Is markiplier not gonna tip a waitress?

GPM lied about needing donations to move and then bought arcade cabinets with it and then got kicked from the Vinesauce team. The other mod (Charon) was thrown off the moderation team for being a gigantic power tripping asshole and later tried to claim he was thrown off because "He knew the truth" (But was evidently fine keeping it a secret so long as he stayed a twitch mod and even for weeks after being booted.)
What the fuck is even going on. Every time I wake up I see a new streamer (in this case one I actually enjoy) getting cancelled. This shit is getting out of hand.

Twitter, ruining the power and weight of the word 'accusation' for the world just because we don't-like/hate a specific someone. Raggedy Andy's most always appropriate quote; *I'll tell ya somethin, I'm gettin pretty sick and tired of all the dumb things that go on around here...*
Yep. At this point when I hear someone claim to be a victim of sexual abuse on the internet, my mind immediately imagines it's some 500 pound feminist with short rainbow colored hair who bumped into a guy while leaving Walmart 10 years ago rather than a legitimately traumatized person who went through an actually horrible experience with someone who seriously took advantage of them.
Everyone laughed over the Michael Jackson shit but after reading up on it, it was definitely a mom trying to get rich and famous by doubling down on a lie. And yes, people who make false allegations ARE hurting innocent people actually being taken advantage of. I once had someone pressure me into sex with the threat of accusing me of attempted rape if I didn't agree to it, and let me tell you that changes a person.
