@@chrissy212e remove the white cover and you will se how that stuff turn in water. I got damprid and labels says don't remove the white cover so I left on three weeks later it was like the first day, then I removed the white cover an started turning in water.

@kmacho5298 Hi, thank you for your advice. My only concern is that the white cover is apparently supposed to keep moisture from escaping. Definitely works now it's nearly full. 😊

I removed mine by mistake so I can't compare to using it correctly, but it collected a lot of water from a closed closet so I'm very glad I got it. Going to pick up a few and try correctly. I had it over a month I think, they should last two or three months used properly probably 😊

I used these exact ones and had to punch big holes in the white paper before it would work.

Thanks tony ; the white layer is nano fabric , which is used for moisture premeability ,but also to prevent liquid come out ; so white fabric layer do not need take off. FYI
