Mojang, We're tired of Mob Votes 

Gonna be honest, I voted for the glowsquid, because I thought it meant we could get neon dyes in Minecraft

IMO they should make it so they all get added but the winner gets added first

The igloo is meant to be a tutorial for villagers curing. Also, it was said that the mob vote losers (except for 2017 mob vote) are put into the “idea library”, where features that have a chance of being reused are stored. However, something that confuses me is that they said that the biome vote losers were guaranteed to eventually be added. Why do mob votes need to be any different? Edit: Also it never said that armadillo scuts would be used to make armor for cats.

Dream despite succesful, has shown that he can be a problem for the community when half of the community are DreamStans, it goes to show that using your audience to get your way is just scummy and dangerous.

GUYS!!! Minecraft is clearly wanting us to pick the Armadillo!!! And here’s why!!! Almost every mob vote has a clear “winner” that should be voted for! Aquatic update had the big squid thing! The iceolliger with the caves and cliffs, and sniffer with the trails and tales update! The savanna, badlands, and desert still need to be updated! And I bet that’s what 1.21s update is going to be!!! And the armadillo would fit so well! And it could eat termites! And so on. And isn’t it weird that the armadillo has the most features!?!? Mojang CLEARLY wants the armadillo!!!! I’m not saying I don’t want the other mobs. But I strongly believe that the Armadillo is the best option!!! But vote for whatever you feel is right! istg mojang needs to add new biomes, ores, items, bosses, and dimensions the game is getting super boring and im tired of having to look for mobs to add

My idea would be instead of making a vote, there could be... The Batch Of Three! Sorry, I didn't come up with a proper name, but instead of revealing it they day after they reveal one, it would be every two days. How this would work is they would tell you there would be 3 mobs added to an update, each with their own features, this is just an idea I had and I hope you enjoyed it!

ok yes sure modders are faster but in mojangs defense their updates affect everyone. us mods can do it in hours, but we affect whoever wants to download it. its just different.

I actually wanted rascal to win last year this year I want the armadillo I am really sick of mob votes I really wished Mojang would stop doing them because all 3 get great features added but only one is implemented in the game I wish we would go back to biome votes they were way more fair for everyone because not only did we get a new mob for a bit for b we got a new biome or a update to a biome and something to go with it.

there should be a mob vote update, with a march madness style bracket vote where the top one or two mobs get added in and given a second chance

at least for this one there's not as much of an instant win mob. The one that reaches close to that is the armadillo because 0f the savannah biome vote (But i mean i dunno which one is next. I couldn't participate until the last mob vote)

So far I honestly have no strong opinions on any of the mobs for this year- They all just kinda seem mid/bland to me personally- Like, I feel like they are not gonna be that great (crab will probs 1/2 blocks length, dog armor will probs be leather, and penguins will probs win because they are being used as a cute factor like the glow squids were during the 2020 mob vote where everyone featured would talk about how they want the glow squid to win-) Idk, just feels like it's downgrading every year, and that they are only still doing this so that they can look like they are adding stuff that the fans wanna see, like it's a gimmick that doesn't impact the game anymore- I just miss the biome votes (when you sit down and think about it, last biome vote was 2019 / 4 years ago!)

Why not just add all the mobs?

I think mojang needs to start doing something more than just mobs, like add furniture, new things / food to farming or a new dimension which would be EPIC

I don't know why people dislike that much the phantom. At the start I didn't love it that much too, but now it grew on me. I am perfectly content with my vote.

Dude, we're tired of videos that say "MOJANG PLEASE STOP DOING MOB VOTES BECAUSE IT STUPID!" these mob votes were simply made to be for the community to come together and decide on what they want to see focused on in the future of Minecraft, and by getting rid of it it wouldn't make things much better. How I'd improve on this mob vote is to make it so the loser of the mob vote don't get added in the next update, but in later updates they might if the community still really wants that specific mob; either to have some.kind of mob vote that let's the community to decide on what mob that previously lost before and give the mobs a second chance, or simply if the community still demands for a mob that lost. Also one last thing to mention, the frog lost against the fox (which I am so glad it did) but came back in the wild update, so that means they do think about their previous mob votes

honestly i think the mob votes are ok, like each mob has their own great features and sure its sad to miss out, but mojang wants to add a way that the comunity can participate and impact the game. but in the end i think that not having a mob doesnt make minecraft any worse, its just a fun event where even if they cant make all the mobs exactly even having new mobs is fun. (btw the crab should win)

The biggest reason why mob vote exists is that it gets people talking about the game and does it pretty successfully.

Mojang is so strange They not playing game and at the same time fixing bugs that I never thought about (But not fixing phantoms). They saying that they have reasoning why updates takes so slow But the reasons is so stupid First: unlike modders, they think about gamedesing, feature need to be fun and dont break balance... Is piglin brutes is fun? Maybe balanced? Is netherite upgrade is fun? Is glow squid is fun? Warden is balanced? Oh yes crystal pvp is sooo entertaining and balanced Second: just desing, feature needs to look vanilla. Like... You already designed this mobs, what are you talking about. Third: bedrock have different code. BUT ALSO IT HAVE ANOTHER TEAM SO IT MEENS NOTHING and btw delete bedrock if it runing the game

Mob vote is just a stupid idea in general. Earlier I watched a video about the mob vote that came up with some “points” to say that the mob vote is good. I am horrible at rebuttals, yet I rebutted every. Single. Point. They were dumb points. All in all it came down to Minecraft devs being lazy asf. Idgaf if “coding takes longer to do than you think” get more employers. Ik there are tons of coders that would LOVE to work at mojang. And you are a multibillion dollar company. Stop being cheapskates and give us all 3 mobs and stop this shit I’d rather never know there were 2 other mobs than know I could’ve had a better mob

I'd say they have started to rig the votes by deliberately making two of the choices look bad and the third one look good to ensure the one they want wins. Wouldn't surprise me if they stuff the ballot box too just to be sure. And well, in the current vote the crab will win because it adds in an useful feature for the builders while the armadillo provides cosmetic armor for the wolf and the penguin only spawns in frozen ocean biomes and make your boat sail faster in sea full of ice where that feature is useless.

I think this years mob vote is one of the best. All mobs have one feature and pretty equal. I think people are taking the mob vote too seriously. I voted for mobs that both won and lost, but I was still excited to see the winner ingame.

We’re not tired of mob votes we’re tired of a big portion of the fanbase voting blindly or making shit up. This is solely a community problem and not a Mojang problem. And believe me I think Mojang has a TON of problems including laziness but the votes are NOT on them.
