Good video. Just ordered this rod medium heavy fast action for inshore saltwater bass fishing . Can’t wait to slay a couple with this rod

The Fishing Nomad no I have a few seekers and some Phenix rods that I use for for going offshore. If I’m not doing that I’m usually targeting smaller size bass here in the harbor by where I live so it’s adequate...

Dicks sporting goods has these on clearance for $70. They are getting rid of them because of the newer model with the SCIII blank..which the only difference is its a tad bit lighter I bought the same model you have the 7' plastics in the SCII blank and so far its a great rod

My second guide didnt move like that, send it to st.croix! Is your mojo bass rod a sc2 or sc3 graphite rod? I think these mojo rods are THE BEST bass rods you can buy for the money they are super light(can fish all day) and have great strong backbone to power in fish! They are super sensitive! I can tell the difference between sticks, strikes, nudges, weeds, drop offs and hills! Slap on a nice lightweight lowpro baitcaster and its amazing! I dont think their is a better rod out there for the money than this one, but if there is someone please comment and let us know!

I'm looking to order one of these online. 6'8 medium heavy action. The only think that I don't know if I'll like is the new style hook keeper that they're putting on these rods. Shouldn't be a deal breaker though. I'm planning on pairing that up with a Revo STX 7:1:1

+Jeff Outdoors Right on! I just ordered the one (2016 model) I mentioned in my previous comments. Wanted a slightly shorter rod for pond bassin where there's trees and bushes around, yet has backbone to haul those fish in. Paid $199 CAD for the rod from tackle warehouse, which a fortune....but no where carries these rods up here (not the new model anyways). It's supposed to show up Dec 29th, can't wait. Thinking of pairing it up with a Revo SX as well, cause it's a fair bit cheaper than the STX. Definitely going with the 7:1:1 gear ratio.

+Jeff Outdoors Just got mine from UPS today, ended up costing a small fortune with shipping/duty fees/exchange rate. $227 Canadian...I think it's safe to say that I won't be buying anymore rods from the US. The rod is really nice though, looks well made, guides are straight for the most part, feels nice and light in the hand, with no reel on it. Still tip heavy like the old models. Being that mine is 6'8, the grip is really short, so that'll take some getting use to. Seems really nice all around, can't wait to try it out.

Thanks for the great review. I just noticed that the same guide on my Mojo Bass rod also makes a slight click. It seems the guide is secured well but the click is annoying now that I know it is there. It doesn't bother me enough to box up the rod and send it in for warranty though. Did you wind up sending yours back due to the click?

Sorry for the super late response but I never did end up sending it in. That being said I still use it on the regular with no problems.
