Mokwheel Slate - Sporty Compact Fun Folding E-Bike 

None of them are great to ride without the motor. Some are a lot better than others. E-Bikes with regular street tires (Aventon Level or Mokwheel Asphalt) pedal not that bad. E-Fat Bikes like an Aventure, Basalt, and RadRover are at the horrible end of the spectrum. Mid-drives ride almost like a non-ebike when the motor is off. The motor has very little drag on the overall pedal system. If I wanted a not-so-expensive, lighter weight ebike to through in the back, I would look at the Lectric XP Lite or Gotrax F1. Single speed without suspension bikes get down to a much lighter weight. My biggest complaint with every folding e-bike I have had is just how heavy they are to pick up.
