I like seeing "real" people using these products! thanks. I do have one question, you said no wood as a mixing tool, and then you used a paper cup as a mixing vessel. that's not a problem?
Thanks for the kind words. No ,it's no problem at all,it's a lined coffee cup ,so no moisture absorption. They're sturdy too ,tried like a red solo cup way to flimsy to mix in.I've seen on instagram ,the smoothon seminars for bigger volumes use a popcorn container like you get in a theatre. Similar to the cup I use. Thanks for watching.
Hey. Liked your video. I have a question. I bought these exact rubbers that you have in this video, about 6 months ago (thought I would get my mold done sooner). But now I finally have a good mold of a Michael Myers mask I've been sculpting for many months now, finally. I am excited to use it. However, I am worried if my rubber is too old. I have never opened the box. This stuff is expensive and I'm stuck on making a decision to just buy a new batch, or am I safe with using the one I currently have? Do you think it'll still come out the way it should?
@@mrconcreteartisan I decided to go ahead and wing it for my project a few days ago. You were right! Common sense told me to do just that (stirring and seeing how it would react, using a plastic stirring tool) and it seemed fine. I then went ahead and bit the bullet and used it on my project and it came out better than I thought it might! I have a video of it on my channel. Appreciate the feedback!
