to all those confused between phosphoester and phosphodiester, let me tell u something, the phosphoric acid group forming a bond with pentose sugar forms the *phosphoester bond* with the 5th C, but in DNA, the structure is a polymer of nucleotides and hence the same phosphoric group forming the phosphoester bond will also form a bond with the third C of the nucleotide above called *phosphodiester bond * so i think maam meant phosphoester bond in the context of DNA and hence referred to it as phosphodiester bond..
Oh definitely I've read from *books* and sources from the internet, so definitely what I'm saying maybe similar... But it's not copied.. I've written it in my own words and so I'm not answerable to you... Just because what I'm saying is correct doesn't mean that it's copied.. If you can't say anything nice, please dont spread misinformation.. Even if it is similar, there is nothing wrong with it
@Dip Kumar bro, I understand why you said that... Well let me tell you why I had written my comment... Some in the comment section of the previous video and this video were constantly saying that Neela Bakore Ma'am was teaching us wrong by referring to phosphoester bond aas phosphodiester bond.. So I wanted to clarify to those ignorant people that Ma'am was teaching us the right thing and explained her perspective through my comment.. That is why when you said 'copied from the internet', I was offended. We are all here to learn, so no issues.. Peace ✌ Also, I'm a 'sis' not 'bro' 🙃
Mam, I Am really sorry about What I am going to write here, There are two mistakes in Your data explained in the video, 1- When a phosphate group is linked with 5'-OH of a nucleoside, will always show a phosphoester linkage. 2- Two nucleotides are linked through 3'-5' phosphodiester linkage to form dinucleotide. You need to do some corrections here..
Maam, i cant express how happy i am to have found you. U r the best teacher i have ever experienced. Tbh i wish i would get someone to teach me physics like this too. Thanks a lot for this videos. U r a great teacher💜
although there some mistakes in the bond name the other things were described beautifully , simply and sweetly so that any weak student can understand... great vedio mam... m very happy that u r helping the students .. keep it up mam ... Respect from the bottom of my heart..
@@Jasmine-ho4mu the bond between phosphate and pentose sugar is phosphoester bond....the bonds which join two nucleotides are called 3'-5' phosphodiester bond

Maam 13:43 ,you said it glicosidic bond And before you said bond between phosphate grp and OH grp is phospho di ester bond Which one shall i call it? If anyone know tell me plzz ....

Mam sry bt i think there is 1 corrxc. at 4:08 where u told that pyrimidines bond with 1st carbon. ...isnt that 3rd C of pyrimidine instead of 1st???? Kindly check!🙇

Thanku mam for the great lecture .. 😇 mam i have a doubt the bond between sugar and phosphoric acid is known as phosphoester bond but u are saying it phosphodiester bond.... Phosphodiester is formed when two nucleotide get attached. #3'-5'phosphodiester bond But u are using phosphodiester at both place ... I may be wrong mam but i have studied this... And thanku so much mam for your lectures it is really helpul I am student of BOTANY DEP BHU last year of my graduation preparing for msc entrance Thanku mam❤

Why adenine does not forms 3 hydrogen bond with thymine and guanine forms 2 hydrogen bonds with cytosine???? Please give me answer maim,,,,, If anybody's know comment please 🙏🙏🙏
