incredible what this family went through..first the wife with cancer, then their son dying at 16 from cancer and finally prof Gambhir succumbing to it at the young age of 57..how odd to be a specialist in the field and having to suffer through all this. Thank you for your contribution sir.! RIP

And sadly his wife passed away last November. Loosing her dear husband too, after the loss of their son, may have triggered her cancer recurrence - the mind body connection is powerful and not fully understood or dealt with in today's medicine...
