CyberDragonGaming I dodged once and it took the stamina and I went through the animation and still took damage

There are worse things: Dodge, take damage, fall dead, revive at 1 health for no reason, dodge again, fail, die again and lose a fricking escalation that was going perfectly fine.

That moment when you’re standing by shroud’s tail and he does the forward slam and still hits you even though you dodged

Oliver Bolton its still young so it kinda "sucks" but not in a bad way hahaha theres a lot of improvement that they can implement so let's just hope that the devs notice what "sucks" right now :D

I need to hit it with aetherslam to get aether ammo though. I'd use the ranged attack more if it still left flame pools but it doesn't

@@OhDough The burn patches will still work with extended mag but you need to charge all 6 shots. So without some tasty speed buffs you'll be rooted for a good 5s while you charge it up which is not ideal.

There are cells that allow stamina to be better, and other boosts from armour and such? Sure you'll still find yourself running out of stamina, but it should stop you from being unable to dodge.

bobby cantrell, yes it’s because there are 6 exotics you can acquire by playing and progressing normally, twin suns( repeaters) being an exception where they are found in trials for 1000 steel marks but the other 6 exotics come in pairs type where the weapon elemental weakness and strength is the same as the helmet both coming with unique abilities, However you can get these exotics by fighting the unique boss in heroic to get them eg. Fight firebrand charogg(Heroic) and you have a chance to get the skullforge helmet, molten edict hammer, on the other hand of you do heroic and heroic+ patrols no matter which boss you fight you have a chance to acquire any of the 6 exotics, hope this helps

what a shame i think it would be interesting to redo this weapon maybe if the special made volcanoes appear or something like that it would be interesting

If by "viable" you mean it can compete with the top Hammer and Striker builds then don't bother. The Molten fills a very small niche for behemoths which are hard to approach during rage and aether charged phases or ones that don't stand still for very long and force slayers to waste time chasing them. So it works well against Gnasher, Valomyr, Riftkitty, Koshai, Shrowd and Skraeve. I'd recommend a build focused on speed so you can spam meatballs from a distance and bomb like crazy once you get close.

@@kevyn697 Much like the Twin Suns and The Hunger it won't lead to fast hunts but these 3 of the exotics are very fun in their own right. I'm hoping the weapons revamp in progress will do something to help bring them in line with other weapons. Even Prismatic slots would help.

In the current situation I’m almost always bored

Stay as close to behemoths as possible to deal max damage and get charged ammo. Best cells right now are evasive fury, wild frenzy, conduit and iceborne. Use Captain's grip and embermane lantern because the more attack speed you have the better. I know nothing about pikes though so I can't help you with that

Learn to play every weapon, it'll help in the long run

@@RandomPerson-yf4ox It depends on what you mean by help. I've been playing axe since the launch and picked up repeaters the moment they've been added to the game and I'm doing perfectly fine, never had to learn how to play with other weapons.

@@boonxai purely because escalation will be a pain if you dont at least learn others weapons.

Sun as a repeaters main I can tell you that you should go for part damage builds and use stuff like captains grip and Markmans chamber if you do you can easily stagger behemoths and help your team if you use stuff like full bor and sabatour you should go for a pure damage build unless you dont want to and just get more parts some cells that are good on axes and such like ice borne or cunning and such are very op for repeaters but full bor and sabatour grip can also help stagger behemoths but in order to do that you have to aether your repeaters and throw down a mine to enable stagger able mines but the guy above me is right dps is best and staying close to them is also the best the only other thing I have to say is upgrade your repeaters get a high dps and part build and learn how to dodge very well and learn good stamina usage

A misconception. As proven here it is perfectly viable but certainly not going to set any record hunt times.

Edict is trash but that doesn't mean you can't meme about

The molten edict is horrible but fun to use, the reason it's doing damage in the vid is because of the Escalation Perks, but using it in Patrols and Pursuits it's bad.

@@alicevibrant3729 I'll say the same thing to you that I say to anyone about the exotics. Many say they are more fun than normal weapons but weak, leading to hunts taking longer. If someone offered you the choice between 3 mins of entertainment or 5 mins of entertainment then what would be the better option? If a player is not concerned about farming parts or grinding xp then the exotics are actually a very good choice if you are just playing Dauntless for the fun of it. At the end of the day though, isn't that the main reason why we play games?
