You still feel it, but its more like a very very tiny burning sensation, not a shocking sensation. Feels like the sparks from an angle grinder. The closer you get to the tesla coil, the more the sparks hurt. If actually touch the metal circle on top (Toroid) it will shock the crap out of you. if you touch the wires, like the black primary coil at the base, or the red wires mounted on the outside of the glass it will most likely kill you, and burn your skin to the bone instantly.. that's the reason im hesitant to make a 'video how to make a tesla coil' if you messed up with this gun the worst you will have is a painful burn for 3 weeks, slip up with a tesla coil and you are dead :/

You should use the squirt gun to shoot liquid sodium and have a friend with a super highpowered water gun shoot at your sodium fired from your gun and see if the blow up when they meet

You made Matthew Looney's "Infinite Repeater"! In the story, the repeater is a gun that fires a lead bullet that has no limit to its length! The longer you hold the rigger, the longer the bullet. Neat!

they are very fun, but hes probably trying to make the math involved seem less boring, you have to do some math to tune them, not hard math but it can be tedious. Source: have built 3
Now, I wonder if you could could heat the metal portably using your portable induction heater but a custom version where the coil is around the molten metal magazine. A thermometer or timer could be set to tell you when it’s melted and ready to fire.

Molten metal spray guns have been made and used to make durable moulds . I had catalogs of a firm in Australia (I think Hobart based) making an identical product . The feed is of a low melting alloy though.
+Nate yes that would have been great. But I don't know what they're called or where to buy them. Also even pressing the trigger for one second and fills up the canister with enough air to force out all the contents and there is no way to stop it!
@Australian absolutely, he could make one of those, hit it with spray lacquer or something to keep the shiny surface and hang it on the wall as an art piece/mirror
