HD VIDEO-June 4th 2011 at a Tampa mall. Shoppers, mall employees and a store owner who provided a right of way help momma get her ducklings safely home to the lake behind the mall.
Yes that man was committed to solving the problem. What a great video. I was worried about the water because domestic baby ducks can’t swim . They get waterlogged and drown. But these are wild swimming baby ducks! It is interesting that the mother knew just which direction they needed to go to get home.
@@pattysherwood7091 Might you be confusing chicks with ducklings? Because ducks swimm, even baby ducks. If you keep ducks you need to provide water for them to swim. Chicks, on the other hand, don't swim.
What a kind and caring man (and eventually others) and thank you to that store employee who allowed that mama and her babies to cut through her store. Bless you all❤️❤️❤️
Unfortunately, I Don't Know if There Just Aren't as Many Caring People as there Have Been in Previous Generations, Before TV and Smart Phones. 🤔I Sometimes Feel that We have become Desensitized. I Honestly Hope and Pray That I am Wrong.🙏💖 🦆💖 🐶🐱🦌🐦🐣🐥🐢🐀🐿🦊🐾💖
I see this everyday here in FLORIDA. People disreguard that they are living creatures trying to survive in a dangerous world and not a nuisance but, victims. What kept me watching is the determination and honestly sweet team effort. The high fives at the end had me cheering not for the ducks but, for the joy of those caring people. All races, sexes, ages, nationalities working together because it was the right thing to do. Woohoo! 🙌 💓😊 Ty ty ty all. 😘
Well said Bar, restores my faith in human beings. Plenty of good hearted people here! All determined to ensure this precious family is looked after! God bless each and every single one of you! Annaw525@gmail.com Australia (God bless you too Bar Rez)! 🤗🤗👍👍👍👍👍💖💖💖💖💖💖💛💚💙
I totally just said the same thing, I live here and it is awful the things I see. I have a neighbor who shoots at cats with a bee bee gun and no one, not even the police do anything. It is just shameful
@@aimwilliamson6609 That's really sad :(. I'm in South Florida and see just the opposite. I see stuff like this video all the time. Everyone is pretty respectful and patient to all the creatures down here.
Wish there were more people like this gentleman that stayed and watched over this little flock. Thank you for giving your time and protection for the misguided little flock.❤️
I love that guy. “What do we DO?” He wouldn’t walk away until he knew it was handled and saw they were safe. We need more people like that in our world. It will be a better place when more of us step up like this. Kudos to whole group. ✨👍🏻
Videos like this make me believe there’s still hope in the human race. To everyone who helped mama duck and her babies: thank you and God bless you always! 🙏👏👍
If only human parents would teach their kids to respect animals, especially moms with babies, by getting and staying the heck out of their way, giving them a lot of space and not harassing them by following so close.
Birds like this don't "know" like humans do as it's more of a basic instinct for them to understand locations better than we do. Many birds have something like an internal GPS. She could have also smelt that the pond was nearby.
The guy who is helping her is my hero. Thank you for doing what you’re doing here. It made my day to see this as you helped them turn around. I love how you keep talking to the Mama telling her it’s okay and that she’s a good girl. God is smiling down at you. It’s so nice to see kindness in this world because it’s just something we don’t see enough of anymore❣️🙏✌️💕
To the man taking video, you are a wonderful person. So many others would just walk away. There are no coincidences in life, everything happens for a reason and you were meant to be there, Thank You! Thank you to the other people who helped with the rescue as well
I understand what you're saying, a really great guy. But 'meant to be there'? What about all the atrocities that happen to both animals and humans on a daily basis? Was it just these ducks this guy was sent to save? I don't get that mentality. But I do get that he was a very nice guy with a good heart and luckily he was there to help this particular duck and her young find their way back to relative safety.
El Astronaute l understand completely what you're saying. l have come to believe its because humans have free will-far too many times people have an assignment that they fail to complete.
Very heartwarming that people joined together to help the birds to safety. I'm glad I got this video as a recommendation 9 yrs. later. It's very sweet.
People help people all the time. Most people (the ones the MSM doesn't give a damn about) share, donate, help, and genuinely care about those less fortunate than themselves. Anyone who believes animals are always gentle, and humans should be like them, has never seen a cat torture a mouse before killing it, or a dog shake a chicken to death. Good is where you find it, as is evil. You are obviously one of the good people; for that, I thank you. ✌✌✌
If WE ALL helped one another like such in this video then this world would be an amazing, beautiful place all over for everyone!!...wow just the thought sent waves of euphoric energy through me lol let us all be a better version of ourselves & get this world to a place of happiness that we all truly wish to experience ❤🌍
I loved that!!! Thanks for sharing with us your peaceful & clear communications that coaxed the disoriented ducks back to safety. She actually seemed to trust & understand your words and tone.
WOthms there is a "language of intent" between some (lucky) humans and animals. When a connection is made, animals understand you, without knowing what you're saying. I'm sure the mamma duck sensed what the man had been thinking. No, not every word he'd said; he'd pictured the door and the ducks going into the store. The mamma duck had understood his intent. ;) peace ~.~
In watching the video again, I noticed a distinct difference in the upper features of the smaller birds (duck-looking) from the larger one (turkey-looking). In being poetic and personifying them, it seems the ones who were “ducking” seemed intent to “catch her (key-tur)” and get her point too; and she seemed to protect that desire.
I want to thank everyone who helped this family to safety, and many thanks to store who definitely helped as well! This was heart warming to see, and made my day.
Their legs must have been so tired. They're used to the water holding them up and just paddling most of the time. When they come out of the water they don't do that much and that kind of walking. A pleasure to share this life with such kind hearted people.
I love how happy we get when we do good for others. Even watching others do good for others makes us happy. Never believe anybody who tells you that humans are bad.
So sweet the mama duck and her ducklings managed to find their way back to the pond with the kind help of the gentleman, all the ladies and the shop employee with her boss. There’s hope in life which ends up with a happy end ever after.
Aww, thank you and bless you all for helping this little mama. I don't know how she got in front of the mall, but her instincts were good. She knew where home was. Thanks especially to the man who calmly took charge, and the store owner(?) who gave the little family a quick shortcut. I love it when people come together in a joint effort to help animals. 🦆🦆🦆🦆
Absolutely beautiful! That little duckling in the back had slippery feet in the store and kept slipping trying to keep up, I wanted to help the little guy so bad, but then I was extremely glad the guy filming made sure to count them at the end to make sure they had all made it safely to the pond! What a caring person, truly good hearted people in the world and I’ve always thought we should be the caretakers of this world instead of exploiters, and what a paradise we would ALL live in if so. Love this!! :-) :-) :-)
Later that day father comes home, mama duck goes: -You won't believe this...i tried to do some shopping, but those humans kept chasing us, so i didn't get you that shaving cream you wanted.
The host talking is an amazing man. I wish there were more kind people like you in this world. You are a real man. Such nice people helping these little innocent animals. 🦆🐥💜🥰❤️
AWESOME! Thanks to the wonderful people for guiding momma and her babies off the parking lot to their safe zone of the water-their natural habitat! ❤❤❤😊💯🙏🏻
Man I was so nervous there for a minute when. They were getting obviously distressed and exhausted. Thank goodness for people like this man . And Al the other people who helped get this family of duck back home in a timely manner.
The guy filming and talking to her was so nice and it looks the mom duck recognized he was helping them. It also appears that Mom had gone through the store before, she knew where to go. The person that let her in last time was probably off that day.
I actually think maybe the reflectiveness of the tile made them think they were jumping into water. And then they were trying to swim, but one by one they figured it out
GOD BLESS THOSE NICE AND CARING PEOPLE THAT HELPED HER AND HER BABIES GET BACK HOME TO WATER... GOD IS WATCHING EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE.. THANK YOU AGAIN.. SO HAPPY FOR THEM AND ALL OF YOU THAT IT WORKED OUT FOR EVERYONE.... AND I KNOW THAT MOTHER DUCK THANKS YOU TOO.... GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AGAIN....LADY FROM TEXAS.......
Well you see all animals serve a purpose in life and in death, we eat them to gain nutrients, and what's left behind gives nutrients to the earth, but every creature plays some role in life, so who are we to kill them or let them die by illness if we don't have to? Being an omnivore isn't a sin, it is a role, a role of which we are meant to play.
Puckles100 So they didn't help the ducks find the water? Did I just imagine that? Because I'm pretty sure I saw a man and several other people herding the ducks in the right direction. I'm also pretty sure that I saw a store employee open their doors so that the ducks could pass through it. And in the end, I do recall a group of people cheering once they ducks finally got in the water. I'm not sure what video YOU were watching, but please take your pessimistic attitude somewhere else.
I don't care how old this video is.So uplifting everyone working together to save them. The man has the most soothing voice. If u notice the people r all colors ,shapes, sizes, and have different accents = HUMANS that came together because they cared !!!!
In these days of people hating and fearing it is good to see our hearts and souls moved by animals. Perhaps that will save us until we look, once again, with kindness upon each other.
The first thing I saw was the children allowed to follow closely which frightened the birds. Use common sense and teach your children not to interfere with nature. Keep them at a distance so the adults can help. Bravo to the kind people trying to help these little critters.
Such a great ending to a cute lil family! I did save a duckling in Florida wildlife who wandered away from water and got lost in woods. I had a towel with me and threw it over her eyes and was able to hold her in my lap in car with towel covering her, which calmed her and was able to go the half mile to the pond where she was happy to smell and immediately wiggled out of towel and went straight to water ♥️👍
Thank you to the folks who helped those ducks and big kudos to the store who allowed the family of ducks and their human friend caretakers to trample thru the store so they can go back home. Thank you all for your big hearts.
Good job everyone!! I felt so bad for the Mother duck, she couldn't find her way to the back. Thank you for giving them water and staying with them, and for the store clerk that let them in. There should be more people around like you. 😇
This was awesome to see. Good to know there are people who really care about all living things. A high five was definitely the cherry on top. Thank You all who helped.
I was looking for a pick me up and boy did I find one! Just what the world needs more help like this would all be better off! Thanks for posting beautiful. Really enjoyed it and it made me smile thanks for the help. I really need this today. Wish it was more like this. Thanks
