I know!! I thought that was weird too!! Like surely a normal person would be more hesitant to force their way in. Like sure you're curious, but it's rude.
@@shea. are you for real🤣the show is 3 years old, if you don’t want spoilers have the sense not to watch channels that exclusively show clips of films and shows, which are literally spoilers from what they’re taken from🤣
@supergirl12-qh7cg did you watch the show? Bc the guy ending up physically abusing the woman.. And her borderline s3xually did too.. (after an abusive episode her started caressing her cheek and kissing her uncosentually)
When she lied about her daughter he realised she needed him more than her needed her which means the dynamics had changed and narcissists love that. Usually a pretty woman like that would be difficult to control but as she has a reason to put up with his long term behaviour (put food on the table for her daughter) he knew he could get away with a lot more with her. For some narcissists they know what they are doing and for some this thought process is subconscious. Either way it’s dangerous. I’m explaining in the hope any single months see a pattern or stop a relationship like this starting ❤
Him pushing his way into the door was the first red flag 🚩 because who tf does that And for all of y’all justifying him pushing his way into her apartment because she should’ve told him she had a child ….. ew , it really says a lot about u

I am sad to admit I absolutely relate to this and it is 1000000% accurate 😢 Everything is easier said than done even when you see it happening right before your tiered eyes.
@@Sarsforyou48910i definitely don’t agree with ginny’s attitude and how she goes about things, and georgia did everything she could for her growing up, but that doesn’t mean she was a perfect mom. She also definitely did her fair bit of damage to ginny especially when she wouldn’t listen to her. I feel this show does a really good job of showing really tough and/or bad situations, how people find themselves there, and the different reactions of being a victim of the circumstances. Also especially diving into the narrative of not being the ‘perfect victim’
@@yazzyari9746 Georgia was never a bad nor the best mom but what I was trying to say was that gunny never respected her mom and made her feel like a burden to everyone just for the things that she did for Ginny when she was younger not only that but I believe that Georgia was the best mom she could be because she even starved when Ginny was still hungry but that’s just my opinion
This breaks my heart. I remember eating buttered noodles and rice, so there was meat for my son. Last year, I was able to send him to France for a semester abroad. How life has changed.
As a former fellow butter noodles and ramen mama, I love this for you! I took my daughter to Paris last November. It's a sign of how strong we were. We made it. 💕
Georgia is a great mom. Who loved her kids unconditionally, she saved her kids from Kenny, gill , Zach and even when Ginny is super mad at her she forgive her mistakes
Idk if I’m the only one who thinks this but I think Gil slightly shows who he really is even in this scene he doesn’t once see if Georgia is okay with what he is doing and even though he’s doing something nice he never thinks abt boundaries
He has such low empathy too! Like, he’s a man she doesn’t know very well and she and her young daughter are alone in the house 😬 just forcing your way in could make them feel really unsafe 😢 and if she is sick, she doesn’t necessarily want you to stay? Like he probably figured out she wasn’t, but she could also be faking sick because she didn’t want to see him. The vibes were wrong from the beginning 🙊 the rest is love bombing.
They remember this when they grow up ❤ they remember you giving up your food for them..and once they see how life is when they grow up they really see...give your kids everything ❤
So true I remeber my mum telling me she had a big lunch to make sure our bellies were full shame my sisters don't remeber this. I'd do this for my son too.
Ginny must have forgotten everything Georgia sacrificed for her, ecause she's an entitled asshole to her mum the entire series. She even married and atayed with THIS JERK after he started hitting her, all because he treated Ginny well and took care of her.
My parents did the same for me and my siblings didn’t ever realize till they told me we are now living I would say a bit above middle class now they worked their ass off for us
When I was married I actually did this with my 13 and 5-year-old. I dropped down to 99 lb. I got my nursing degree left my husband and never went hungry again
When my daughter was young, we had moments where my daughter was still hungry, and I gave her my food because money was so tight. I'm just thankful that things got much better. I would have never let my daughter go hungry. I don't care if I had to steal. I would have .😊
Him hearing a kid in the apartment he doesn't know of and his first reaction being to go in the apartment, to overstep this boundary...says so much about him.
i love how they show him being a really good sweet guy at first b/ this is really how it starts and this is why a lot of victims have difficulty leaving b/ they learn to feel like the issue , like they’ll never find anything better , etc. and the ironic part is when he asks when she was gonna tell him and she says “after u felll madly in love with me” because this is actually exactly how narccistic / abusive partners act with their victim
This scene makes me want to cry because you know that man is young Gil and you know he is a horrible human being, but he is so nice in this scene. If he hadn’t been abusive, he could’ve been the man of her dreams and they’d be happy together with no issues. Ugh.
He was a major red flag. He was so good to her and then got her pregnant and then became an abusive prick and beat tf out of her so she escaped with her two children
The fact that Ginny treats Georgia so bad even when she did everything for her and made have a good life Ginny is so mean to her and she suffered and did everything for her 😢
I love how he says everyone has a drawer. I I know you know if you live in a middle class house you definitely have a drawer you will find everything you could need in it even if it's called something else in your house.
I’ve never seen Ginny and Georgia but I’ve seen clips of Gil at this age and when he was older. It makes me so pissed that he became so aggressive because he was so sweet!
The casting on this show was so fantastic. He has such a similar facial structure to the actor playing the older version of the character, it’s kinda wild
Psssst it's not real! I guess you didn't know but tv and movies often times make up unrealistic situations to deliberately manipulate your emotions. People watch these things purely for enjoyment so there's literally zero reason to be a condescending downer!
My word of advice growing up in an abusive household - never stay with a man "for the kids". For financial or "father figure" reasons. I would have rather been starving poor than mentally ill because of all the traumatic experiences my family endured. My sister and i both fell into addiction. I made it out, my sister got worse and died a month ago. Go to food pantries. Not on dates. Bad men love to take advantage of struggking mothers.
I love Georgia she does everything for her kids no matter what happens or how much money they have or where ever they go she pulls it off and does her job as a mom she's the best mom you could ask for she would do anything for her kids she'd actually kill for her kids actually kill❤
Guys, Gill wasn’t a nice guy who just happened to become a bad person, all of the signs of him being a narcissist are right there if you look for them.
I can't believe that I'm having bad luck Jenny and Georgia is such a good show and I just finished both of the seasons yesterday and now I'm sad and I already finished watching the after party too so now I have nothing to watch and now I'm seeing this like really okay I get it the show is really good😢
