Y'all have me cracking up and crying at this restaurant. That part with Trey making the AB sound effects. Oh my 😂 Also, Katie, thank you for the insight into why southern women would have seen Barbie. Honestly, even us conservative types just felt compelled to be part of the Barbie girly girl vibe of the whole thing. Thankful for a female perspective on this show. ❤
I was making dinner while I listened to this episode and was already boiling potatoes for smashed potatoes. Never heard the tip about using a mug and it made the step so much easier! Thanks, Jake!
After you guys talked about smashing potatoes, I was very hungry and wanting potatoes. Also I love it when Katie roasts Trey and Trey’s genuine laugh when she does.
I am already laughing when Trey says him and Katie had a 10 minute walk fight... All the little arguments shared on the pod have been hilarious. Keep em coming 😆
I was listening on Spotify and had to switch to RU-vid just to catch a peek at Thomas. The ending had me laughing SO HARD!!! 😂 My babies are grown now and this brought back so many memories. When I dropped off my son at his college campus 9 hours away from us this past year, it reminded me I would give anything for these times. 😊
This was my favorite episode so far😆 dicey jokes related to Oppenheimer but hilarious 🤣 the Josh Peck impression was perfect haha. Love the energy you all have together!
Trey and Katie are such troopers. Between raising Thomas, finding time to date, Trey's comedy tour, and creating video content, I didn't realize they'd be doing the podcast with Jake. That's so amazing. Love today's topic of Mom energy, especially the comment how full-time Mom's can run executive branches. So true! Btw, anyone in the comment section live in MO? I was watching Trey vids the other day and news about MO mega millions popped up on my feed. I have some numbers for anyone willing to get the ticket while they're out getting their own. We can go havesies on winnings. lmk
Katie I can TOTALLY relate to being sick of wearing the same clothes all the time through pregnancy and post partum. I get bummed too when my old clothes don't fit and it's really hard to find a new outfit to wear out. But you look amazing and I'm glad to know we are annoying our husbands together! 😉😂
Katie, good job calling Trey out on saying “Lidally”; I have an entire note app on my phone devoted to documenting all the words/phrases my husband says incorrectly. That’s marriage 💕❤️💕😂
As a Mom, really enjoyed watching Barbie with my teens & was also confused by Oppenheimer, but thought it was interesting. Surprised by the map though because the conservatives I’ve seen online have been anti Barbie. 🤦🏻♀️ Also, I had a Kirsten doll so was glad Katie knew that one. 😉 Loved Jake’s Boomer stories.
Katie, I’m sure you notice things because we are all so hard on ourselves, but to me you look just as slim and fit as you did before you got pregnant! You’re beautiful, so stop worrying about it! 😊❤
I didn’t have bad interviews. But I kept not getting the job because I didn’t have the experience. Which I don’t understand. How can I get experience if nobody will hire me?
Oh, my goodness, Thomas is simply adorable; that outfit... too cute. Man, I need a baby in my life... sigh. Anyway, if I still went to movie theaters, I would have seen both movies. But apparently covid is going around out here at the moment, and we only have one theater within, maybe, 100 miles. So no movies for me, because these two movies would have gotten my butt in a seat. As for Hawaii shows, I'm wishing I could go, because I've been kinda missing island life after 20-ish years since living on Lanai. If y'all are in Maui for a while, consider hopping on the ferry to Lanai. But first see if there is a group tour otherwise it might be tricky getting around. I recall there was very good food at the little restaurants in town - there's literally only one town. Fun Fact: Bill Gates booked all the rooms on the island for his wedding to Melinda. They got married on one of the golf holes at Manele. (We didn't live there at the time.)
