Praying for your moms recovery. My mom had knee replacement surgery back in May. The best advice I can give is just to keep up with physical therapy and do the exercises as much as possible that they give you. It makes all the difference! Let me know if you all need anything!! Praying ❤
Gabby is doing super well considering. My grandma recently had a knee replacement surgery (her second one) and her mobility compared to Gabby's was totally less. Really strong of her to push through that pain and still do all that PT. And damn, that must've hurt so bad to get her hand slammed. Wishing her all the best in her recovery
Physiotherapist from the UK - seen many total knee replacements and I really sympathize for your mum's pain, hoping it settles soon! I find a good exercise to help with knee flexion (bending) is to sit in a chair, get a water bottle on the chair, put your foot on it and roll it towards you. (Depends how many weeks post op)

Man it makes me so sad to see our parents grow older and more fragile. I'm glad she has you to take care of her! I try to baby my mum when she's not well, just like she did for me when I was a child.

Sending love to mama bush! I work in orthopedic PT, if her knee is super stiff and keeping her up at night the best thing is to get up and walk around to loosen up. Also another great stretch is leaning into a lunge on 2nd/3rd stair (which im sure yalls PT said already)
My mom just had a knee replacement a few months ago! She’s 52 & now waiting to have her other knee replacement. Please be patient & don’t let your momma feel like a burden cause she probably will at times :( . She probably feels worse cause she’s used to being up & active as it is so this is so hard for her being limited. BUT tell her the process is freaking crazy amazing & it will go by so fast. My mom’s healed knee is 10000% & it’s the best decision she ever made. Praying for a speedy recovery 🤍

As someone who broke their finger in a car door last year I felt that pain so bad but could not help but die of giggling at her reaction as it was the exact same as mine once i realised what I did, straight to A&E for me though ahaha
I never ever ever make a comment!!!But I had two knee replacements this year ,please cut momma some slack ,it hurts like a bitch !!!She's an absolute trooper ,be nice to her !!! Don't give her a hard time ,that will probably be you at some point !! But ,just be tough ,I know she's got this ,nighttime is the worst !!!!
