MOM OF 10 MORNING ROUTINE 

I wish all children in the system or in a bad situation, had someone like Alicia.. she has the biggest heart and is so selfless. The things she does for her babies are what some kids dream of.

I love how when she was making the two extra sandwiches that she was aware of how she was cutting them and wondered how they like them cut. 💜 It is very sweet how much she cares about even the small details.

I'm a mom of 3 young boys & I wake up every morning at 5am and get on RU-vid to watch your morning routine. It gives me motivation to get up and get the day started . I admire you so much!!

I think you are doing the right thing, always follow your heart. Yours is telling you what to do! My own heart swelled when you casually slipped in 2 extra sandwiches and I knew you were going for it!!

Hello from Tennessee, I just found your channel this past weekend. You are a wonderful and caring lady, the kids are so blessed to have you as their mother. Last year I checked to see how many children were in need of foster homes and I was saddened to see, in the State of Tennessee there was over 8,000 children needing homes, this is so sad for these children. 🔹 I wanted to share with you, when making muffins or cupcakes or anything that uses a muffin pan, I always use a Ice Cream Scooper. It’s a lot faster and no mess.

You have inspired me to talk to my hubby about potentiality fostering especially here in Arkansas here is such a need! Could you maybe do a video tutorial on fostering? Xxoo

Ok so I’ve just made breakfast bars at nighttime here in the uk, ready for my kids breakfast tomorrow. Been watching your videos and didn’t realise just how boring my kids breakfast had got same things etc, so I’ve come up with a new list of breakfasts to make them. Breakfast bars, blueberry muffins, peanut butter and jam toasted brioche… my kids are over the moon and the new list of goodies x

What a great idea because being of 9, I remember our growing up days it was chaos in kitchen...Everyone wanting this that.. The dog, oh my snagged the bread though I heard him chomping on his food earlier. You're one amazing Mom! Can't wait to see the completion of casserole. Bless you for taking those two children in. I know its going to be hard at first but it will be a whole lot easier, and better for the kids, because they know you all already. Maybe they can get adjusted a little quicker. I was always so scared when I had to move to a new place and family.

I know there is cultural differences in food and eating, but always find it so weird to see you packing chips for lunch since here in Finland they are more like a weekend/watching a movie treat 😅

I am a former fellow foster parent and I understand the need to want to help. Your heart is so big and honestly I would want to help too. Listen to yourself. The foster system is beyond broken and knowing it may get crazy but those kids will be fed, cleaned and have a good safe environment then that is what is important. Like you said you have to try. Even if it’s for a month or two… that is a month or two out of the system. I hope when they come they adjust well and your children adjust well. Fostering/kinship is not for the weak. Omg I about died when I saw the dog take the food! 😂😂

Every morning when I watch your videos I find myself getting up to go clean my kitchen and start cooking....while watching you clean and cook. Lol Also a few vlogs back you said your family likes center cut bacon because its the least fatty of the cuts....I've been buying only center cut bacon ever since then, and I just wanna say THANKYOU from the bottom of my heart.

I've noticed you tossing the offcuts of Alex's sliced apple a couple times now and wanted to tell you that my chickens love them, so you could totally throw those apple innards to your chickens instead of throwing them away! ❤️

I used to get up with my little brother at about 530 every am and it was my favorite time. Your little ones voices in the back ground give me so much joy!

I obviously don’t know the whole situation, but if they need someone, you and your husband seem to be the ones that could get them through this rough patch. They are at very impressionable ages and I think being in your family would help them stay on a good path in life. Even if it’s only for a season. Like you said, you would have tried. That’s all you can do…is try. I don’t have my children and I don’t want to be judged for that, but I wanted them to have more than I could offer. I was mentally struggling when they went with their dad. I believe you’re doing the right thing by them. And I can tell you, that mom thanks you. For being willing to pick up where she had to leave off. It’s not easy to let your kids go to someone. I have been praying for you and your family. God bless you guys!

I totally agree with you taking the two new members of your family, if you and your husband couldn’t cope, passing children on to older daughters like the Duggars etc do. If you couldn’t provide for the children you already have & they didn’t all have a bed to sleep in, not enough room around the table, children were hungry & snatching food off each other, gulping down food so no one could take it from them…then it would be a no! But none of that applies. You can offer them safety, live, kindness, role models…

I'm so proud to know such a selfless and kind person. You're beautiful!

Hope the taco casserole turned out well. We do something similar here except we put Fritos Scoops on the bottom. It makes it like nachos sort of. You also don't have to worry about soggy chips since the scoops are pretty thick already. It works well when you're doing parties and/or buffet style meals. 👍😎

Here's something we do at work quite often, use an ice cream scooper to pick up the batter and put in the muffin tins. Works great

You should have a 'Muffin Monday' and bake a ton of muffins so you can freeze some. It would be fun to see and would save you some time on those mornings you'd like a little break. Just take those muffins out to thaw while you're cooking bacon and eggs... You can enjoy more coffee that way . I'm not big on meal prep because I love freshly cooked food (like you), but I love making muffins and breakfast casseroles to freeze in individual servings so I just have to cut up fruit or cook breakfast meat to go alongside it. I only have one kid to cook for so I can imagine how much work it is for you - kudos to you for making sure they have something special each day versus a pop-tart or bowl of cereal!

This is random but I watched you talk about why you are so happy to be making food for your big family and it hit me very hard because I've wished for so long to be a mom, not blessed that way, and be able to do this for my kids. You seem so genuine and happy and I enjoy your videos immensely!

Honestly I say take those children in....you are just an angel and I think it's better for the kids to be around someone they know at least rather than a stranger since they are already going through so much.

Alicia, sometimes the universe speaks in ways we don’t comprehend like 10 sandwiches are made from 1 loaf of bread, 10 juice packs in a box, counter space fits 10 lunch pack’s. But, as a mom I understand that it’s not a big deal it’s just 2 more..it’s just taking on more than your doing already that we viewers see how much you do and want you to save that energy when the nest is empty to party like a rockstar
