You used a wet measuring cup to measure your dry waffle mix. You need to use measuring cups made for dry ingredients. They're different. I bet Krusteaz is NOT lying! And I bet any recipe in the included recipe book would tell you how much batter to use per waffle.

I know you don’t want any more waffle irons but have you heard of the stuffler? You can add a filling to a waffle.

The waffle mix might measure 7 cups if lightly spooned into measuring cups the way flour is traditionally measured after sifting. Scooped flour weighs more than the the sifted.

The waffle board was not on the counter. lol. Looks good.

You are using a liquid measuring cup to measure dry ingredients. Those measuring cups are very different!

You have to use a dry measuring cup to get accurate measurements for dry ingredients. You are using a wet measuring cup. That is why you're only getting six cups in your wet measuring cup. Not to mention your spilled quite a lot of the dry waffle mix right into the bowl. I'm sure if you ask James about dry measuring cups and wet measuring cups he can explain it to you. I know he's tried before.

My older kids would never approve of just a plain sandwich on white bread. The older kids always got a hoagie roll or a wrap, lettuce, tomato, onion, cold cuts and cheese with a dash of italian dressing. Over the years they now use either sour dough rolls or whole wheat wraps for making sandwiches. If you rinse off your egg shells, bake them in the oven for about 20 mins at a 250 degree oven. When dried, crush them and give back to your chickens for added calcium. Sandwich ends can be cut into cubes and baked in the oven to make bread crumbs. If you sprinkle some olive oil and spices on the cubes and then bake you can use them for croutons on a salad. Sundays in our house is Waffle day. We make all sorts of waffles, some with zucchini, some with pumpkin, blueberries, dark chocolate chips, cinnamon and nutmeg. We make batches of them with a standard square waffle maker and then freeze them for the week when someone wants waffles for breakfast. Sometimes for a treat we will make Brownie waffles and top them with ice cream for a summer treat.

I’m hooked on buying mini waffle makers, too 😅

The one thing I love is Alicia's dresses. When my kids were little, I was usually the only Mom wearing a dress and having my hair and nails done. These things made me feel so pretty, even when I was running around all day. It made me feel wonderful, my kids loved it, and so many of the other moms couldn't figure me out. But like Alicia, I represented myself as my sons' Mom, but I was also Laurie. And Laurie never wanted to be just a harried looking Mom. I love that about Alicia!!! I did so many of the same things she does!!

Hello , just surfing channels and came across your channel, i had 7 kids , i never pick up there food with my hands no matter how tired i was , ijs

If I were you I would measure each box individually because I know I know with other things I've made pancakes and stuff with like Bisquick for instance doesn't always have the same amount in each box a lot of things for that matter I mean my daughter is a huge egg roll Kid and she has been getting egg rolls every time we go to the grocery store and some boxes have five of them so they have four the other one the other day I only had three so I mean it's not it's a machine so it's never going to be exact so just out of curiosity next time you do it if it was me I would check each box individually to see if they're consistent or semi consistent and giving you the same amount each time then that will alleviate the issues of them being not runny enough or too runny or whatever

Alicia, I just looked up that waffle maker . Very inexpensive, going to get one. Just wanted to tell you that the video on Amazon shows you how much mix to put in. An that you flip it over halfway. The whole waffle maker over. It has a red and green light that tells you when they are done. Love watching your videos daily. 🧡 Love your family!
