Fun tip: when you’re measuring out anything sticky (honey, syrup, peanut butter, etc), spray your measuring vessel (cup, measuring spoon, whatever) with cooking spray before pouring the honey in. When you go to pour it into your mixing bowl it’ll slide right out 😊
That's a very helpful tip that works so well. Also, 4 tablespoon liquid = 1/4 cup so your 12 tablespoons would be 1 cup. Sometimes quicker and easy to measure out.
I always watch these when I’m pumping, when nursing at night, or when my baby is asleep. Makes me happy and keeps me company during those midnight feeds. 😊
What’s so impressive about your meals are the variety, it’s a different breakfast, lunch & dinner everyday , your meals are cooked with love and your cleanliness is exceptional. My mother tried her very best to do all the things you do but we weren’t very wealthy. On behalf of your children, thank you, thank you, thank you, they must be. so grateful.
I agree. I always comment to them that it’s sad that they are trying to make money by criticizing other people. I guess they have nothing better to do. I’m glad you don’t let it get to you. Keep up the good job your doing for these kids. We live your videos
i am still going to watch you.. why are people picking on you. my gosh if they have a problem just turn it off,,right?? i am so impressed you and your husband raising these kids, you are a part of my routine for i love the way you can feed and cloth 12 kids..God Bless You and your family..
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but pretty sure 4 TBLS = 1/4 cup. So for those bigger batches you can scale up so you don't have to do 12 tbls of vinegar, you could instead do 3/4 cup 😊
Breakfast burritos are the best. Looks delicious. I recommend cooking your tortillas, you can use a pan and toast them on each side or buy a comal to cook them on. The taste will be very different. Love your videos.
I love these vids Alicia! Keep making great content. I love how you care for all your kids and supply them 3 healthy and nourishing meals every day! Ignore the haters and keep being awesome!
To help you out with time in the future: 12 tablespoons is equal to 3/4 cup! It’s faster to grab a measuring cup and fill 3/4 of the way rather than scooping 12 times :)
Hey Alicia!!!!I recently discovered your channel and I am very happy 🤩🤩🤩it is so therapeutic 💙💙💙one idea for around the world dinner you can do Greece 🇬🇷 I am From Greece and I thing you would love it ❤️❤️❤️
It is wonderful that your kids are so involved in activities! I would love to hear more about them. It would be awesome hearing each one talk about what they love about their activities they do.
I saw some hateful videos about you guys and I just don’t understand why they say all those things about you guys. You guys are amazing people and have done so much with the kiddos and helped them tremendously!
My kids favorite breakfast is a scramble or breakfast burrito. Only difference is the tortilla. I put potatoes, some form of meat cut up, (bacon, turkey, ham, etc) scrambled eggs and cheese. I use big fry pans and cook potatoes until close to done, add meat, mix, pour eggs over top and cook until done. Put cheese on top, cook until melted. Serve with fruit. Also: if you put to much toppings in tortilla- (I use bigger ones) just fold in half like a taco.
Just a tip if you warm up the tortillas on a skillet about 10-15 seconds on each side the burrito will taste much better and it will help so nothing falls out, also it will make folding the tortillas much easier
Came across a few vids that hate on you guys. I’m truly disgusted by them , how can they just assume you guys don’t eat? Or anything terrible they were saying. Keep doing what you do and being positive energy to everyone ❤️
the fact that you have a family of 14 and have a smaller kitchen is amazing. we have a family less than 10 and have a huge kitchen. you really are amazing!✨💛✨
I've been a fa n for a while now. Can I make a small suggestion. In most of you morning routine videos I know you do a lot of talking but most times I can not hear what you are saying. I watch you on my TV and I have the volume at 75. I hear the banging and slamming but I can't hear you. In my personal opinion, I think you need a mic to be heard.
Putting those lunch boxes together is like some strange ballet dance!! I don't know how you do it without getting confused...plus I know I'd have atleast 1 sandwich on the floor every day! Amazing!!!
I really enjoy watching you every morning preparing the days food (mostly because I hate to cook), but I have a question, if you make breakfast a 5 a.m., do the kids actually eat anything warm?
I absolutely love you and your family! These videos inspire me. I'd love to see a video where you talk about the baby stage and how you managed that with your littles and the older kids. I have a 9 month old right now and can't imagine doing all that you do! You're amazing!
I find breakfast burritos hard to wrap, too. Everything falls out! Instead of scrambling the eggs, I just bake the eggs in a well-greased sheet pan and cut long strips so they fit nicely in the burrito :)
Since you have a ketchup sandwich, you can try out a different take on it! One of my favorite snacks as a kid was bread pakora, which is like fried bread that you can eat with ketchup - an Indian recipe. You can make it as plain or fancy as you like - v common to just have only the bread, but I've seen it with stuffing as well.
I put my tortillas in the microwave for like 30 seconds to like warm them up and they're a lot in before you put stuff in them and it's a lot easier for them to roll and they'll stay tight and they won't break apart love your videos all the way from Arizona
Yes shredded cheese is better. And for future reference you should always heat up your tortillas it gives it a way better taste and there not suppose to be cold.
To have the cheese melt you should have put the eggs on top of the cheese and the the bacon 🥓 and hash browns 👍🏼 or leave it like you did and just warm them up in the oven 👍🏼
How about changing their breakfast and not telling them! Make it something that they would like though. I don't know what your kids like, but may be taco salad or something different. Put a plactic fork in with the lunch. I am sure you could come up with something fun for your kids, so they aren't getting the same thing daily, even though they like it. Just have a fun day that they will get a smile on their faces, as to a new thing. If someone doesn't like what you are making be sure to do something else fun for their lunch.
you know, if you put soem parmrnt paper down on your baking racks and reuse if if you can a few times, you wont have to wash the backing racks. im not being rude just stating! thats what we do in my home, and we wash then whne needed.
I need an update on the food your kids actually eat and the amount of food that goes to waste 😅 My husband ends up eating the kids (2) leftovers 30% of time and has blamed gaining weight on that alone... he is wondering how Josh does it lol
Love to watch your morning routine. You have it down perfectly. 🥰. Never seen the large roaster liner. Have the roaster. Would love to get some liners. What size and who sells them. God bless you and your family. Thank you. 🤗
I love you and the family and I love how u cook . Just being respectful 🙏 please wash ur meat with Lemon 🍋 🙂 and water to get the bacteria off ....love the family
Yes! I struggled for years with my electric CanOpener. I finally gave up and went to a sturdy handheld one. And it looks like they have not changed at all over the years!
We use liners in the crockpot, soooo much easier lol...4 tablespoons=1/4 cup for future 🙂 and if measuring honey (I do like you and just squeeze it in) spray cup or spoon with pam, makes it easier to get out! Try ginger in with terrayaki, ginger with any Asian food is delish, I buy the tube of it mashed up for convenience, we also add a can of pineapple with the juice
The peanut butter and jelly finally look they have enough on them. I know I used to pack lunches for two kids, one was biological and the other was not never saw a difference . Both my kids have degrees, masters and bachelor I’m proud of them and me being the mother they needed
