Doctors say a Florida college student died from toxic shock syndrome (TSS) and now her mother is working to educate young women in the hopes of saving lives.
Awww ... What a beautiful soul... May God wrap this woman in his arms and give her the strength to get through these darkest seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and years to come 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Her mom's grief is so unbelievably sad. Losing a child will literally hollow you with grief. I've seen it. Mom's and dad's that rarely ever smile again.. just going through the motions until they pass and reunite with them. I remember Anna Nicole Smith kept having nightmares after her son died of methadone and Xanax overdose that he would say "mommy im scared here without you" "can you please be with me".. unbelievably Anna Nicole had just had her daughter a couple weeks earlier and still passed away... i think from a broken heart.
I had it in March 2017 also, had menopause so didn't menstruate & string fell off-left it in unknown for weeks! Fell to the ground paralyzed, only to be put in Mental ward on meds for bi-polar since the docs didn't understand why I was crazy & gaslighted me that I was faking my paralysis. I was shackled in mental ward for 4 days!!!!!!!!!!!! Insane!!!!! Not sure how I lived
Hello. My name is Bongiwe but people call me Bonni. My sister little passed away on the 15th of June 2024 due to Toxic shock syndrome and she was only 17. I watched this bacteria eat up my sister within a split second , visited her everyday in the hospital until she was no more. This is quite a traumatic experience
Wow. I didn’t know that it was a type of bacterial infection. I literally suffered from bacterial infections for years! From age like 18-25 until I stopped using tampons and like magic, never got another bacterial infection and it’s been 10 years now.
Eaither pads or tampons, nothing should be used beyond 5-6 hours. And i recommend not using tampons at all...reusable cotton pads, pricey but much better than going under the risk of toxic shock syndrome. Don't recommend using disks or cups too...
This what happens when you aren’t educated about periods. Everyone should know that ANY period product can cause TSS. This isn’t only a tampon thing. It can happen with pads, cups, period underwear and more. This isn’t anything new but yet we still aren’t educated.
FALSE, hence why pads don't need to put the tss warning on the package, it works internally. Anyone can get TSS, however, it is also directly caused by tampons and cups, but not by external protection
There is a lot of misinformation in the comments. The reason why these girls are getting TSS is because they were using their period products wrong. You can still use tampons just make sure that you are using the right absorbency, and that you change them every 3-8 hours. Even using pads you can still get TSS. In fact you can get TSS from any period product. Even using tampons, your chance of getting TSS is still incredibly low, and half of TSS cases in the US are from period products. You can even get TSS from a infected small cut. Hope this comment clears up all of the misinformation uneducated stupid people have spread through the comments.
What is the point of this video when it doesn’t really educate anyone?? I come across it intentionally looking for some information on the matter but all I’ve learned is that some woman lost her daughter🤦🏻♀️
@@estela_agbegninou8337 I have plant based super absorbent Pads and Liners that absorb so well you don't have to wear a Tampon. It also naturally kills bacteria and helps with Cramping
@@rahdream either way the blood would still have to come out and i have a heavy flow where i have blood clots that will random shoot up my back when i wear pads so plant based definitely would not help at all 💀
tss tampons gebruiken je kan beter maandverband gebruiken niet tampons gebruiken iedereen die kan gewoon maandverband gebruiken loogies goed beter normaal
