@@WowMomica You can try what i do. I watched a video a lifetime ago now where i moved my hand over to the right. Instead of using WASD to move i now use ESDF, then i just mapped all my spells to QWRTAG and my mouse buttons lol. That way your hand is always right by your spells and you can react insanely fast. Mapping to the number keys kinda sucks for reaction speed and takes a longer time to get used to.
@@EQOAnostalgia See the problem with that is I use the arrow keys for movement and my left hand on my mouse. lol so I am gonna try to keybind them around the arrow area. But yea the number keys kinda slowed me even more than clicking my spells, just cause of their placement for me.
@@WowMomica FYI if you hold both left and right click, your character will move forward. if you get good with this and controlling your camera, all you really need is strafe.
about a half a dozen of my family played back in the day, including my mom. I helped her get a special Core Hound mount which was fun. a lot of good memories.
Thanks for the stream kind mom, fellow father here and a veteran player (since 2005). I'm at a point where the stress of father duties and work and daily responsabilities turned me into a solitary player looking for the sound of leaves and steps and whispers of the wind through the trees and getting lost in the world of warcraft music. The classic vanilla wow. (I got an active sub but play for like 15min every 2 or 3 months haha) I miss being a noob and experiencing wow from an explorer's point of view, filled with awe. Thanks for the content, chill cozy vibes that I needed. (and the asmr voice too)
Awww, thank you. Yea I am not able to play as much as I am really wanting to, seeing how I am loving this game so much, so far. I find it super relaxing and fun to just be playing this alone and learning.

@@WowMomica Well, on retail it's perfectly safe. On classic, tho, for example, a rogue could flag themselves and stand invisible on an NPC and then unstealth as you click and if you accidentally attack him, you will be flagged for PvP for 5 minutes. One way around that is check "enable left click interact". But, since you're a mage that has AOE damage, like frost nova, he could just follow you around invisible until you cast that, and if it hits him, you would also be flagged. Fortunately, world PvP is very rare due to the low number of players unless you are on some "fresh server" or whatever the newest thing blizzard is doing.
I love seeing a new player for the first time, don't take these times for granted, I wish I could go back to being new. I must ask, how come you use such an old computer though? New computers are pretty cheap these days and would run the game much better. Also, if you go to options you can turn instant quest text on, so you don't have to wait for all the text to load so slow.
Yea, I am enjoying every minute of it, so much to see and do! I play on a laptop, not that old, but still yeah it isn't a desktop. I never planned to play this or any games, so never really needed anything better. I will get one I am sure, since I see myself playing this ALOT. Thanks for the tip, cause tbh I hated waiting for the quest to type out, so thats amazing!
@@WowMomica wotlk= wrath of the lich king. It is an expansion of the game (the game base is the same but has more content in the final), if your game says that then it is the correct version.
