@@WowMomica That sort of stuff goes back to Dungeons & Dragons and other role play games. It is their way to break down actions into different categories. I was also kinda being facetious. ;) Most WoW people don't care _that_ much other than when deciding to gear out their character as some stats may add more block, and some may add more dodge. It's not something to really care about, tho, until you are max level or for building a twink. And it *definitely* doesn't matter for your specific challenge. ;)

@@WowMomica Ya, there is a degenerate use for that label, but that's not what I mean. Unfortunately, it's the name also chosen for a type of wow character. In WoW, a "twink" is a character, normally not max level, that has all the best gear, enchants, consumables, etc. that he can use for the level he is at. They are normally built to PvP battle with. In modern WoW language, it would be someone who is not max level, but I have seen old videos where people also referred to max level toons with top gear as "twinks".

@@WowMomica True, but I doubt many knew of the "no buff" part, lol. I guess, like you say, it depends on what they mean by "buff". To me, that is anything on the buff bar that adds a positive effect to the character, which would eliminate most of what gives a Paladin it's suitability. Warrior for example, only has two buffs I can think of, Battle Shout and Bloodrage, well, and I would guess Last Stand if Prot. But then, what about buffs that are triggered by abilities? ya, you could try unclicking them, but that could be a full time job on some classes. I'm not sure about classic, but I know some expansions, if you are a Fury warrior, your buff bar just stacks up with automatic self buffs during fights. That won't happen on a Paladin, tho, AFAIK, you have to click an ability for each Paladin buff, I think.

@@WowMomica Well, the game is pretty "simple" in that it has a buff bar, and a debuff bar. However, there are things that show up as a "buff" or a "debuff" that don't really make your character "more powerful" or "less powerful". Sometimes it is simply tracking a game mechanic. So trying to do a challenge with "no buffs" can become quite tricky. One example would be the "Soul of Iron" buff you can get in Ironforge. After "unoffical" hc, but before "official" hc servers were made, Blizzard added an NPC in IF that will give you a "Soul of Iron" buff which indicates that you have never died. If you ever did die, and resurrect, you could no longer get that buff. You can get the "Soul of Iron" buff on HC servers, but it is redundant as you can't resurrect. It does give a cool animation and, if you die, a shiny "soul shard" pops out of your body and lands on the ground, but that is all it does.

@@WowMomica Yup. There are 3 basic "fish zones" Open Water. Pretty self explanatory. you can catch random fish and/or "junk". Pool of Fish. You catch the named fish in the pool, sometimes other special fish, or "junk". Wreckage. You will catch all "junk". "Junk" is usually some form of "Trunk" which can be opened. Inside can be crafting materials, gear, rumsey rum, etc. The level of gear depends on the level of the zone you are fishing in.
