I'm not sure if anyone else pointed this out (I imagine they have) but Roses is actually about his grandmother making it through this health scare and surviving. We know she ended up passing not much later as Kanye raps about losing her in the 2009 song "Forever" but in this particular story she pulled through. Great reaction video though! Love seeing people who don't gravitate to rap music or to Kanye in particular get a chance to hear his best work without the context of what is being said in the media or whatever crazy stuff he is saying online.
