Mom & Rico's - Springfield, MA (Phantom Gourmet) 

I was Born in Springfield at Wesson Woman’s Hospital (totally dating myself here!) Happiest years of my life spent in West Springfield. A lifetime ago. So happy I found this channel. Main food memory: White Hut on Memorial Ave. with my beloved, fabulous, Grandmama. Hamburger with everything (mustard, white onion, sweet relish) and a small carton of Hood’s chocolate milk. Heaven on earth. Beautiful days. I am so grateful. All the best to my fellow Springfield countrymen!

Bon and raised in Springfield and “Mom and Rico’s was and is the best.It’s like being in Italy!!!!Sorry I had tomove away and miss the smells and tasts of M&R. Every visit back,Mom and Rico’s is our first stop!!!!!

The bread is do soft. I went with Gina to Niagra Falls when she did trips. Very nice. I'm going back down. I live 5 mins away

I used to go into Mom & Rico's when I went to the old skills center in the south end. It used to smell putrid because of the salt cod and stuff but they made a good grinder

Have a great Italian Deli in my neighborhood (who doesn’t) it’s small and doesn’t have as much variety as this one, but I will put his Shrimp and Linguine (red or white) up against ANYONES. PS it’s only $12 and is enough for 2.
