Yeah, I just learnt to be careful around my parents. I usually avoid answering their questions just in case they try doing something like this. Sure it makes talking to them stressful, knowing that I'm always treading on egg shells, but it's the only thing that works when they won't listen to me

For those who want elaboration, I got stories of my own: Freshman of high school, so embarrassing I still remember it all these years later. I am a shy guy. Introverted nerdy guy. Didn't know how to deal with woman. There was this girl, quite similar to me in nerdiness. We had similar interests, and I knew what her interests were because we had the occasional interaction in class, she sat at the other side of my biology and I got a good look at her, and her me. She brought a coke every single day, and I remember always thinking to myself: "that must he unhealthy as fuck!". Slowly, despite the fact I never talked to her much other then the occasional casual interaction, I developed a crush. Looking at a girl across your biology class who has similar interests to you will probably do that to you, but because I'm so gawd damn introverted I never said a word even when I developed this crush. Ended up crushing on for a month or so I don't really remember the time period, to the point where I decided to telk her my feelings. I talked to one of her guy friends, who was one of my friends also, on how to approach. After a bit of talking and planning, I decided to tell her in the hallway after biology class. I was about to tell her, got her attention and everything WITH her friends around, and I remained silently. She awkwardly walked away after some time. Embarrassing as fuck. I tried a few more times, but honestly they were even worse, I ran from her twice, and the second time she SAW me run. She eventually started to think I was a creep, and when I tried to tell her the third tike she told me to "go away". Turns out she had a boyfriend too, my friend told me during band practice. She later broke up with the boyfriend, and became a member of the LGBTQ community later, tho I don't know what her sexuality was, long time ago.
