My family would never agree with these dolls but I do, when I collect dolls. they say " you are too old for these dolls, they are for baby's like 3years. They are so wrong!!!😿😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Agreed to you why just let them daughter be happy what they are doing and what they are happy about if they stopping us just tel them its our own destiny
Yup but hey I love collecting dolls. I stopped when I was a teen but when I saw the movie Tangled it made me wanna start buying Disney dolls again. Heck I have all the Tangled dolls.I take them out of the box and have them sitting in my room. I maybe 24 soon but I love dolls.
I have my first ever barbie still in the box that was actually bought in 1996, two years before I was even born haha. It's the winter rhapsody doll. I love it and Even as a child I wouldn't let anyone go near it in case they took her out of the box :)

wow your mom is really cool, I wish my mom was so cool as yours, when I started to colect dolls my mom thought it was stupid to keep them in the box because dolls are for play with them so she make me to take them out of the box and throw it away. And thanks to her and my "lovely" cousins now I have a japanese Barbie with no head an Irish Barbie with no hair and the list just keep going, so I will not buy another doll 'til I have a house of my own so nobody of my family can touch them.

i have to take my dolls out of their boxes cause I live in an apartment and I dont have enough space:( But I put them on display stands on top of my Piano so that my lil cousins will never ruin them!(I dont play with them as well)

Yay, so lovely and sweet! My Mom has since passed away and she was a huge collector as well of porcelain, lots of baby-dolls. She wanted me to have them all but the collection was so huge that I have them packed up as well and a lot were given to other family members who share the same interest. My cousin has been collecting Barbie for her daughter since she was born, she is 27 now! Great video :)
Your mom's doll collection is awesome! But you are the cutest doll of all! I have a vintage Barbie collection, Ellowyne and Monster highs and some BJD dolls.
Wow just amazing I love your doll collection I collect barbie and have over 160 I also have a franklin mint doll that was $2000 I got her of eBay for about $400 so was suppa happy I don't know if you have her she is a wedding doll She was a maryse Nicole doll her name was Rachael just stunning. I am glade Chad that you got the bug from your mum. My mother never collected anything and my sister says she does not care about barbie dolls and wonders why I collect them. I am hoping to have a showing next year to raise money for cancer I think by then I will have over 200, I will do a video sometime when I can get mine out of storage. As we are building a new house. Wow! Love her collection. Especially the I Love Lucy dolls! I am such a fan of the show. :) I don't have a Lucy doll. Yet. I've always been embarrassed that I do love collecting and playing with dolls. It relaxes me and makes me happy. Thanks to you and your mom for sharing that view of her collection. :)

Your mum is awesome I can't believe how many barbie she has , I wish I had as many as her and I just love how she still has ones from the 90s I would be so great full if if I had any as old as that I love things from the 80s and things way before my time so I ams waaaaaaay jealous of her, does she know what her first ever barbie or doll is and what year is it from?
Your mom's Barbie collection reminds me of when I used to collect them. The I Love Lucys, I have all of them except Christmas Show Fred & Christmas Show Ethel. I have the full Disney Signature collection (5 dolls only, boo for it ending too soon), and the Water Lily Barbie from the Artist series was my first one I started my collection with. I think I spied another personal favorite: Beatrix Potter Barbie (in pink, but I like the second edition in blue too). My Barbies are in their boxes but aren't on display. No space at this time. Seems like most of her dolls came from around when I was collecting because I can recognize most of them even if I didn't have them. Nice collection! The Disney Signature Collection went like this: 1. Belle, 2. Snow White, 3. Beast (no lie, he was part of the series), 4. Cinderella, 5. Aurora (most beautiful Aurora doll EVER, seriously, look up that doll). They didn't last long enough! The dolls were so gorgeous, and the packaging was great.

Those are some lovely dolls and such magnificent collection! Your mom actually reminds me of my mom haha she's a big doll collector herself and that's also where I kinda start appreciating toys/dolls and started collecting them as well :D
I'm not into dolls but think you and your mom have cool collections. I love Disney, I Love Lucy and Gone With the Wind. I think it's great that guys collect dolls, don't listen to the haters!

Oh my gumdrops ! haha this reminds me sooo of my nan's house when I was growing up ! filled to the brim with Japanese dolls and dolls of all kinds just like these ! :D what an exquisite collection, those porcelain displays are amazing !!!!
Wow, your mom's collection is truly awesome :) it's so cool you and her have doll collecting in common. Especially her dolls have such lovely gowns! Is there a reason she has so many in storage boxes? How often can she see them if they're put away? Since I entered smaller fashion doll collecting (and mostly just Monster High/Obitsu so far) from BJD collecting which is like $600 a pop minimum (at least for a good quality one) and often much larger than Barbie I always have to get rid of dolls that are no longer receiving tons of attention. So it's hard for me to understand just putting a doll away in storage instead of selling it once it's not getting attention anymore. Does she plan to do something with them in the future?
My grandma owns one of the FIRST EVER MADE Barbie! She's gonna give it too me on my b-day (May 1st) because I started collecting Ever After High dolls :D
I had this doll 4:17 when I was little from my aunt!!!!! Wooow. Because my aunt was living in India at the time and she came for visit. Of course I was sooooooooooo little so I didn`t care about her much, of course I loved her but I was just playing :) I still have her somewhere at my mom`s place but she looks like thrown under the bus....well good memories :)
