Baby Sea Otter sleeps most of the time its mom is foraging for food. It bobs on the water like a little brown log. Mom stays close while she eats and then floats around with the baby on her stomach, seemingly showing it off.
This vid is so relaxing and calming....sounds of the water....Momma otter floating on its back eating....baby otter floating not a care in the world knowing momma is nearby.....oh the peacefulness of it is wonderful. tks! Just started discovering otters in the last week on YTube.... Aw!
I love those little moments of when she grabbed her baby and like the cuteness level is CRAZY!! also since 4:07 to 4:20 she kept on putting her face and head in the water
Around 1970 Sea otters were turned loose at Cape Alava on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State and now are a common sight in both the north and south wilderness beach area's of the Olympic National Park.
Beautifull video. Otters are lovely. This pup is so calm. The most of pups recently born does not like much stay in water. But this pup is different. as weel its mom. Moms use to groom pups many times But this mom appears do not do that.
More should be done to secure the safety of sea otters. Too many are lost to sharks and predators. They are vulnerable and being endangered is not enough to save them.
Hello, Linda We are Korean mobile news channel Subusunews. We are planning to make a content about sea otter and watched your cute sea otter video. If you don't mind, may we use some parts of your video clip in our content? Please reply if it is possible. Thank you very much.
3 5 21 Hey Linda, No matter how old these posts are, they are always so sweet to view; lucky you! Thanks for posting. Stay safe, keep calm, & be well. v
Barbara Leon "Offended" is not a good choice of word, because it implies that you feel ENTITLED that a baby otter should've showed its face more on camera.
Barbara Leon Okay, I'm sorry (honestly). I think you were just kidding in your original comment. I'm sorry that I thought/presumed that you were being serious. I apologize that I sounded kind of rude in my response to you. I was wrong to have done that. We know that there are so many people (the majority, really) here on the comments section of RU-vid who are self-entitled, and who like to leave mean comments. I truly apologize. I don't enjoy hurting other people because I know exactly what it's like to feel hurt or crushed.
" seemingly to show it off " ..... that is where baby seas otters live for the first 6 to 9 months of its life .... on the moms stomach... they are to buoyant... they cant go down and hunt for food or even swim around right when they are little .... cute video ... just miss informed
