Its very creepy because Plankton is a planktonic copepod, small sea organisms that can lived up to 100 million years. He supposedly the same age of Mr Krabs according in the episode “Friend or foe”. They likely in their early 60s. But for Plankton, 60s is nothing. He pretty much ageless and Immortal, so it’s very easy for him to get away acting younger than his age, plus he cant never get physically weaker because he is a organism. In the show he acts like he’s in his early 30s or late 20s. Mr krabs mother likely between 80-90 something years. Their relationship is way beyond creepy!

At least in a certain episode later on he literally robs houses to try and make her feel better. You SpongeBooomers always think that the early seasons characters are nothing like the later ones but they're the same freaking people

@@rockycuro7737 “You SpongeBoomers” imagine generalizing someone you don't know off of their best estimate of flanderization, dude you sound like a 14 year old. Flanderization does not mean suddenly changing a character. It means exaggerating a character trait until it becomes their most dominant feature, oftentimes to the dismay of the viewer. Like Spongebobs annoyingness being turned up to an 11, Patricks stupidity being beyond any of his past appearances, and Mr. Krabs’ greed doing so as well. Estimating when Flanderization starts to happen in a character doesn't warrant hate.

@@DarthVanus but it does deserve criticism in retrospect because the flanderized moments of the cast aren't done in one-off moments or in isolation, it is true that as the seasons progressed onwards the flanderization became the new norm for a majority of the main cast. where spongebob wasn't just sometimes extra annoying, he would become consistently extra annoying. and while earlier seasons did have krabs be a villain in a hand full of episodes due to his greed, that type of overly sociopathic greed became his default later on, and same with patrick's stupidity making him more of a jerk to people rather than just endearing obliviousness. so pointing out where flanderization starts to take place is completely fair and it is worth calling out because these sort of radical character changes do start somewhere before they snowball into becoming all that there is to the characters for a good chunk of the following seasons. season 4 isn't the worst with these problems and it still feels relatively close to the golden era of the series with character writing, but there are some episodes that start to set a precedent with how things are eventually going to be in later seasons.

Spongeboomer looks at something good he did in a pre-movie episode, then something bad he did in a post-movie episode then claim its Flanderization even though they did said bad thing in pre movie challenge

I actually don’t mine her new voice. I would argue Sirena voice made ‘Mama Krabs’ sound sweet and gave her a character instead butt of a joke when Krabs mother was voice by a grown man, the man who is the show running after Steven.
