CBS did the cast and crew as well as their audience dirty and they know it! Mom deserved to go out with a final season, as a top performing show on CBS for 8 solid years!
Hands down one of the greatest television shows!! I have rewatched so many times I know the lines and I still crack up. I wish this show went on longer but nothing lasts forever I'm grateful for reruns
I'm an addict, this show made me cry, laugh and feel inspired in EVERY episode. I will forever miss watching this. Thursday nights will never be the same. 💔
@@michelefizer2774 Youre so welcome, friend. Some members of my family have had these kinds of issues and were prayed for by many people. They got healed in time and are doing well...have been for a while now, thank God. I just broke a 30 year addiction to cigarettes. They told be the addiction was as strong as Cocaine. Scripture told me to "Trust in the Lord with all they might/heart and lean not to thy own understanding".Meaning don't look at what the world tells us has to be, God is all powerful if we believe. I wasn't looking forward to panic attacks and misery I had been through before when I tried. Please believe me I sailed through it this time. I used the patch for a short while (very short) and some of the gum for a short while and I honestly am fine now. Don't even think of wanting a cig. Yes. I asked God in Jesus' holy name to help me because I knew I was helpless w/o him. And now my prayers are of Thanks and Praise to him. Havent cheated once! That's God...not me. God bless you, Michele you will break yours too. Amen!
I'm not an alcoholic but this show was just comedy gold. But they also had a lot of serious and sad moments. But it was very realistic that alcoholism and being addicted to drugs can end badly.
Absolutely! I still miss this series so much. I guess I have watched every episode on reruns at least ten times. I wish they would bring the series back.
Nahh the show started to forget its most integral aspect. “Mom” it tried to turn into “Friends” Golden Girls Edition after Christie left which is why it tanked. Anna Faris was smart to leave when she did, as they pushed her character to the sidelines for everyone else. A lot of us were just watching for Christie and Bonnie. Seasons 1 and 2 when Bonnie keeps relapsing and when Christie gambles away their rent money are a treasure and arguably the best seasons.
. True, Ana Faris character was becoming the Allen from Two and half man. Could be why she chose to leave. Or could be she was done with the show runs. That happens. Some actors will leave shows cause they're not in a good place.😊✌
user-ko4jl4ts8i In the 'pot brownies' episode (well, actually they were _cookies),_ the scene where Adam sees Bonnie, Christy, Wendy & Jill at the playground, riding the little horses...when Jill says "Ya know...I learned how to masturbate on one of these." Wendy asks "When you were little?" and Jill says "No, just _now."_ Omg...I 'died laughing'. 🤣🤣 Also (in that same episode), when Bonnie taught Christy how to skip. 💗💗💗 Also, when Christy was 'sharing' at the meeting about her Chinese Chicken Salad (lmao) and Bonnie (stoned out of her mind, almost) looked over to June (the newcomer at the AA meeting) and proudly pointed to Christy and said "I made her." Pretty much that entire episode was one of my favorites in the entire series, lol.

One of the things I like most about Mom is gonna sound weird but in the later seasons, I love how when Bonnie hugs Christie and her head fits right underneath Bonnie’s chin, and in some instances, Bonnie will put her hand on Christie’s head as she’s holding her. It just gives me a sense of happiness and it’s just so endearing. I think the reason that I enjoy that so much Is that I had a tough childhood. My parents didn’t make me feel safe in my home. So, in some ways, the show makes me feel safe.. They picked a perfect cast for this show. I liked it even more when Tammy was added to the show. I love Allison Janney.
I was really upset when Christy left the show because I liked how each season ended on her celebrating a "sober birthday". Honestly, I never watched the final season because I just didnt want the show to end.
The last season is really really good even though Christie is not on it. A few of them, they do incorporate her into the plot, even though she’s not there. I love Tammy. She’s so funny. Allison Janney was my favorite.
