if one is going to sue for trauma, one is better off waiting a while and establishing a pattern of lost sleep, PTSD, etc. That's hard to establish within a couple weeks of the incident in question.

Get over it, stuff breaks? Yeah that’s not good enough. Stuff breaks when it’s not maintained properly. Proper maintenance costs money. Why bother spending money on maintenance if incidents like this one are no big deal? Would you say the same thing if someone had died.
