I was disappointed in the blush. It made Sam look pale. The red was perfect. The color really brightened her skin tone and the embroidery was perfect.

The embroidery on the pink was pretty, but I really thought that shade of pink washed her out, too. I think she needed a brighter pink.

The one she picked was lovely but I couldn't understand why they didn't try to get something closer red like they talked about, she could've tried bright pink. And other shades closer to red. At least they found the perfect one in the end.

The red looked gorgeous! The issue with the blush one was that the colour on top next to her skin was almost fleshy -toned and washed her out. Skirt was gorgeous but top needed more deeper, brights in it. Hope you get over your cold soon, Shia! x

I really love the pattern on the green one but don't love the drab colour. And I love the colours and detail of the pink one, but I don't think that shade suits the bride very well. The red one looks amazing on her, and I love that it has hints of other colours!

I love this show . So much beauty.The garments are divine! One thing though Shia, would you not say go to in the back to try it on .The back of shops may have the bucket and mop stored nearby , and that is where you will find the toilet also. Rather say to go to the dressing room to try it on ..That seems a great deal nicer than sending the poor girl to be among the shelves of dusters and cleaning products.😁❤

Wow!!!! 🤩 Another great episode on this channel. I love the storytelling in this story where only Nazrana could deliver the exact details everybody wanted in a lehenga. 🙏🏽 The photos at the end are SO satisfying to see how beautifully everything came together. The bridesmaids wore blush and the family wore the green! All the elements came to get her beautifully starting with the PERFECT gown. Bravo.

Some of these brides and their family/friends do not understand what bridalwear is and what the symbolism is behind colors. Yellow for bridal in this particular culture is absolutely not bridal. The brother was completely clueless and just said whatever came to mind. The mom was right. Red comes in many varieties and even if the cousins all wore a red outfit, everyone still looks different! The store owner is just wanting to make sales obviously because she should know better what colors should be appropriate. How can she be okay with selling a green velvet for a summer wedding. Velvet is winter!

Ok so don't show up to try on wedding dresses in a red dress if you don't want to wear the traditional red outfit. The green color is too flat, it needs to be vibrant under all the embroidery. The pastel floral was perfect, but if they had put some darker color up on the trim around the neckline and sleeves it would not have washed her out. It was too monotone for her complexion. The friend chose the wrong dress for sitting on a couch, facing a camera - getting a peep show here. The red with the addition of the pastel flowers was the ticket - she is glowing!

While the red is gorgeous, I love ladies with her coloring in aqua. There is an Indian lady that attends my church. She will occasionally come in traditional Indian dress and she looks amazing in her aqua sari.

Is the original store still open. I loved the surrounding lenghas and looking at them in the background. I like the new store but it isn’t as crowded as the old one. Maybe, for we non Asians, you could explain the different “ dresses”. Do they ever wear their lenghas after the wedding?

Yes but bridal lehengas are on the heavier side, you can buy a lighter one. If you actually prefer heavier ones, you do you. They would look amazing. We prefer to wear them on festive days and special days! Sorry that I don’t know about this store though.

Why wouldn't you wear red, with all of the options available in which to wear it nowadays? The rest of the bridal party was in washed out blush, anyway.
