It’s the exact opposite for me lol. I’m a artist, and so my mom likes to get me nice pencils/colored pencils, and highlighters, when my dad on the other hand thinks the cheap kind is just as good. Which I totally agree with, it’s just, pulling fancy highlighters out on the first day of school raises your confidence up but like 50% 😌

I could just tell dad “I need this” and he’ll be like “how much? $12? Damn. You’re gonna make me go broke😂 put it in the cart”
