Mom is requesting Dad pay child support based on $200,000 per year
Both parties are present and the DNA test results were filed with the court
We have a partial agreement, there's been no family violence in the last two years and Parties agree to a supervised visitation schedule which will eventually turn into standard visitation
for their 6 year old minor child
Neither parent has private insurance at a reasonable cost so the child will covered through Medicaid
The DNA says Augustine Miramontez is 99.999% the Father
This court order is going to establish Mr. Augustine Miramontez as the biological father
Mom is requesting a non-disclosure of information because "I'm just a private person and I don't know him too well" and it's been a long time since we've had a meeting
Mom is requesting to be sole managing conservator: A sole managing conservator has the exclusive right to make most decisions about the child. Reasons a judge might name a parent (or nonparent) sole managing conservator include: family violence by the other parent, child abuse or neglect by the other parent, alcohol or drug abuse by the other parent
Dad has been absent and negligent for the past 6 years, the Prosecutor (AAG) asks Mom to explain "negligent", Mom states "he hasn't contacted me or the child at all"
Mom claims Dad does excavation and owns his own business which makes $200,000 annually, she knows this through his other partner whom he has a child with; ("she had told me")
The medical support payment would be $750 per month
Child support of $1,610 per month
Retroactive child support $790 per month for arrears of $77,820
The total obligation would be 750 +1610 +790 = $3150 per month
Mom inquires about medical bills, not unreimbursed medical expenses because the minor child was diagnosed with and Medicaid wouldn't cover any of his appointments related to autism
Dad states he does own businesses, doesn`t make 200k per year, and doesn`t have any other children
Dad says he makes $750 - $800 per week and that he is a W-2 employee
Dad admits his parents own a business but not him
Based on the information Dad provided the proposed child support would be
$497 child support
$297 medical support
$250 a month toward child support arrears of $23,856
The total obligation would be 497+297+250 = $1044
Let`s watch the hearing and see what the Judge decides

Child support is money paid by one parent to the other parent for the purpose of providing financial support to a child or children. Most frequently, child support is paid by the non-custodial parent to the custodial parent, but this is not always the case. Depending on where you live and the agreement you reach, the child support you pay or receive and what expenses it should cover will vary.
