As someone who was abused by parents for doing things I never did and accused me of lying, I can literally see their poor little minds breaking. This causes SO much trauma and anger issues growing up. I seriously hope these children are okay now. This is so upsetting. They need a lot of therapy.

Anyone who knows about acting know that children at that age can't act really at all, even child actors in movies have to have acting coaches and they are still terrible most of the time. It's sad how much I can relate to these poor kids. I've self-harmed and claimed to have wanted to kill myself plenty of times when I was younger - and I was either encouraged to do it or was made out to be a joke by my own family members. This stuff is damaging beyond belief and now doubt these feelings will need to be worked through for these poor kids with some intensive therapy. I really hope they have learned to live a better life without their garbage father and step mother and are happy with their real mother.
I used to be a fan of them when I was 11 and now that I look back it was a huge sick joke I remember cody got banned from going to disney land because he pooped on the floor and I THINK misbehaving (it doesn't matter) and cody taking a #2 on the floor I found out later on was a sign of abuse I never realised how horrible they were being to those poor kids especially the youngest emma and cody they picked on them the most there was another prank where the dad "pranked" cody by smashing his console, cody was crying all over, I don't remember if he bought him a new one either way cody must've been shaking in his shoes after that smh

Heres a better one, might get investigated but here goes. Give them a taste of their own medicine by: Get 4-6 real-looking swat uniforms, vest, helmets, and all. Get some airsoft rifles and cut off any disclosing parts and a battering ram. Pretend to do a raid on their house and bring a small baggie of salt or sugar but keep it concealed. When you get to a shady room, make sure they aren't watching and put the baggie in a hidden area, and report it and watch them cry and defend themselves like garbage and show them all their past vids abusing their children as proof they did it and just when your about to arrest them, quickly say "wait a minute, that doesn't look like the real deal" and taste it and say what it actually is, then laugh and tell them it was a prank and savor that moment (Optional) book it
these clips are tame comparing to those where Cody was bloody, bruised, slapped, thrown, verbally abused, when he got told he was adopted and he fell apart in tears, when his valentine card from his mom and his school project got destroyed, anything he thought he owns would be smashed... that kid, despite all that abuse, is still emotionally mature enough to realize he deserves more love. so I sincerely hope he is doing a lot better with his sister now.

Some of the videos they posted were horrifying, creepy, and just heart breaking. One of the videos the dad snapped at Cody in the morning for no apparent reason and told him if his room wasn’t clean before he had to leave for school he would go a down a level and lose his games for a little while, he didn’t have time to clean all of his room so he got the punishments then he went to school and couldn’t focus and scratched his arm until he bled. *he scratched his arm until he started to BLEED.* he came home and told his dad why he had a huge band aid on his arm and the dad lost it. He called him stupid, said he looked like a homeless child for having tiny holes in his jeans and a little dirt of his shirt, told him the world didn’t revolve around him if he asked the teacher to be alone somewhere because the other kids were distracting him from doing his work, and proceeded to tell him nobody cared about him and nobody cared that he was balling his eyes out on the stair case. Then he sat down next to him and told him how he didn’t get the dirt bike he wanted when he was a kid and he still to this day didn’t have his dirt bike, he edited in some “inspirational music” for his “dad moment” after yelling profanities at his like 8 year old child and calling his a disappointment after he SELF HARMED AT SCHOOL. What a loving and supportive father. Another time he recorded Emma possibly saying she wanted to kill herself because of what they put her through. *the dad had to cut parts of her sentence out where she may have said she wanted to kill herself.* WHAT?!?! HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING TO COMFORT HER AFTER HER POSSIBLY SAYING THAT HE JUST MOCKED HER AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT. !!!! God that man drives me insane. Also why does he let the oldest kid, jake, BODY SLAM CODY??? THAT ISNT OK. JAKE TORMENTED THE POOR KIDS, CODY ALEX AND EMMA, THEY ALL SUFFERED FROM HIM. And the dad didn’t do anything about it. Jake probably kept doing all those things on camera because he knew the dad thought it was funny, since you can hear the dad snickering behind the camera as he records his youngest children crying on the floor as their older brother beats them up.
The abuse cycle continues. The saddest part to me is that unless he gets top-level, professional treatment, Jake is going to turn out to be an abuser as well. I think the other kids are young enough that they can learn new ways of being, but jake is already a teen. He has obviously been abused since he was little too but, as you pointed out, he also has received consistent positive reinforcement for his own abusive behavior well into his teens. So fucked.
They're not just terrible parents, they're also terrible liars. Their justifications feel like something a child would come up with. Very basic stories that ignore the main issue.

Maybe she cares about HER kids, but Cody and Emma, the two that aren't hers, she was merciless to. This is a woman who told a little boy clearly having an emotional breakdown that she didn't like him. After they told him he was being put up for adoption, verbally abused him so badly he tried to crawl under his own bed to get away, but was dragged out by his legs and berated for "breaking his bed," then they chased him into the bathroom where he curled up in the tub and whimpered about how parents who really loved their kids would never do this. There is no child actor on earth good enough to fake the obvious trauma in that video, and she just shrugged and said "I don't like you." She tries to smear the bio-mom for having bipolar disorder, but there's no way in hell that disgusting woman doesn't have much worse.

I saw a prank where a kid had wanted a tablet and they gave him a piece of wood carved like one and he hugged them and thanked them and it was totally sweet. They were obviously not a well-off family, and he seemed to believe they'd done their best. Then they gave him the real tablet and he was so overjoyed everyone was crying.
When Emma got upset and angrily said “take the camera out of my face” that one got me. They’re so used to not being able to process their feelings alone without being recorded or told that their justified reactions aren’t real cause “it’s a prank”. These parents really take joy in being sadistic.
Not to mention that afterwards, the dad took her upstairs to “have a talk” and told whoever was holding the camera to turn it off. He probably beat her or threatened her.

Abuse is not a prank, joke, or an accident it is intentional. As a physical, verbal, emotional and mental abuse victim myself by my own parents, I know abuse when I see it. And what they did to their kids was straight up abuse and the kids pain was very much real and none of that was acting.

Meh, out of context it's really not bad. My mum would say something similar to that when my brother or I were being real shits. "I love you, but I don't like you right now." I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with the sentence. It's true, and it gets across the point that, "yeah you fucked up, but you're still my kid and I love you. Whos here after realizing that, after all this fucking time. Rose was the abusive one, and Mike and Heather actually were the innocent people. If you don’t believe me, there are a lot of videos that are unseen and it’s videos of Cody and Emma saying how Rose abused them and videos of Mike and Heather actually trying to win custody of Cody and Emma because they genuinely cared for them.

It's horrible what went on, those poor kids there was a video where the dad forced Alex to destroy Cody's room and he clearly didn't want to, and then Cody had a break down calling himself weak and the dad just laughed and called his a nerd, then later in the videos the dad threw something and it hit the corner of Cody's eye and he was bleeding, the video cut to him sitting on the ground crying with his stuff broken around him like his toys and and some paper the dad made Alex destroy. Cody was still bleeding and crying and the dad shouted at him to man up, it's fucking horrible what happened and they didn't show half the horror that happened in the videos, the dad poured hot sauce on Alex in the shower and it got in his penis and he was getting sick and he needed to go to the doctors, he called Emma crazy when she was she wanted to kill herself in a video and much more, I found a RU-vid channel called "familyofive fan page." who are supporting the parents and saying that Cody being abused is funny ect... And it's fucking horrible
I was abused physically and mentally for my whole childhood. There are certain sounds that distressed humans make, and we don't/can't fake them. I hear and recognize these sounds in both of those kids' voices. It sounds like my sister and I, when we knew we were about to get beat. People who have been in this (or a similar) situation will understand what I'm trying so unsuccessfully to say.
Naerwyn I understand. I was once locked into a bathroom by my mother after I broke a jug of her natural water on accident. One hour later after she stormed in and pulled my hair and kicked at my curled body all screaming saying what a terrible person I am. My brother recorded the whole thing and we got to live with our step dad after he took it to court. Of course that wasn't the only time we were abused however.
That what my friend mother did to my friend over 12 years ago and here what happens we're playing Mario 3 on NES and my friend mother came home from work we heard the front door slam hard and wonder what was going on and went to check it out and we enter the kitchen my friend mother is beyond piss she asks us who put dish soap in her precious bird bath we say we didn't do it and my friends mother told her come to here and next thing I see my friend being slap and being hit with a broom my friend mother told me go home or I get the same so I went home call the police and the police came I told what happen the next day I see police and CPS at my friend house and they took to her and with her mother and stepfather watching and here what I didn't know CPS interview me and my friend father and her brother who was living with his grandmother
I understand what you're saying too. I was abused and there is definitely a reaction that you cannot fake at all when in a real situation like that, it doesn't matter how good of an actor you are nobody can recreate that reaction
Going through this sort of treatment at a young age is bad enough, but on top of that these horrible moments are immortalized forever for these children
These 'scripted pranks' never appeared to be scripted at all these kids always looked terrified of their dad and never seemed comfortable when he was around. He would often shout at Cody especially for no reason what do ever

Anyone who thinks the pranks are real, at all, really need to look into the effects of abuse. The flinching, how the children react, everything, all shows that it's real. Children just can't act that well, especially acting for abusive situations? No way that they could EVER pull off such realistic reactions to actual abuse.
