UPDATES: As of the latest hearing today, June 12th, a judge ruled that Kouri will remain behind bars while she awaits her trial. In this hearing, Eric’s sister, Amy, gave a powerful victim impact statement, ”We have scarcely gone a day without finding out some new allegations or evidence regarding something Kouri appears to have maliciously done to attack and undermine my brother, his three little boys and our family," she said. A trial date has not been set. Since recording, Kouri’s google searches have been uncovered and it points even more to her guilt. She looked up things like “can you overdose on fentanyl” and “signs of being under federal investigation.” These are just two of many incriminating searches. Learn more here: www.abc4.com/news/local-news/kouri-richins-google-searches-after-she-allegedly-killed-husband/

I was thinking the exact same thing… I have a gut feeling Eric’s sister won’t say a bad word about the boys mother, but it must take an enormous amount of self discipline to not bad mouth her. Although, from picking up on what kind of family Eric is from, I think the auntie will put her feelings aside & do what’s right by those little boys. Wishing Eric’s sons & the rest of his family, healing thoughts, I pray they get the justice they deserve, albeit that justice takes the boys mother away from them. I hope, with their extended family & possible therapy the boys will grow up to be just like their dad & learn to have forgiveness for their mother. (Not for her sake), purely for their own healing. I also don’t think it should be legal that you take out a life insurance policy on someone without their knowledge. OMG, I can't even! 🤯 Finding excuses is my jam, but closing on a house and partying the day after your husband passed away? 😱 No way! That's next-level cray! 🙅‍♀ No rational explanation in sight! 💔😩

In the program 48 Hours, her family shares a completely different version of events. She has a mother and two brothers who believe in her innocence, claiming that it took her two months after her husband's death to close the property deal, and no one mentions her hosting a party after his passing. Personally, I believe it's important to hear both sides before making any accusations, especially when I wasn’t there to witness it.

Two ACTUALLY AMAZING Children’s books that already exist to help children (and everyone! Sometimes simple is best.) with loss and grief are: YOU’LL FIND ME by Amanda Rawson Hill and regarding aging and memory loss decline specifically: THE REMEMBER BALLOONS by Jessie Oliveros

Her childrens book should’ve been titled “mommy how soon will you burn in Hell!” Eric may your sons grow up to be great men and loving fathers like you. Rest in peace and god bless your boy’s and loved ones.

This case is so disturbing and shocking....just insane. I keep trying to imagine Kouri's thought process but I literally can't understand how she could do this. I've been following this case closely so thank you for covering it❤

I think there are far more people in the world with zero empathy than we think. Sending love and peace to the families❤🙏✨
