Thanks for the video! :) So I’m from Europe, where the current is different from the US. Then I still have to carry the chargers for my devices cause it’s not converted by the Momax? I’d love to take the Momax where ever I want and plug my MacBook, iPhone, AirPods, … into the USB Ports. Without bringing additional chargers.

The Momax plugs are not converters. So anything that has a power supply that doesn’t show 120-240V will need a converter. Your Apple devices can plug directly into the usb-c ports of the momax to charge or they can use their own US power block plugged into the front of the momax plug. Everything else that doesn’t have the 120-240V will need a converter to work. The Momax doesn’t help with conversion.

both links 2 & 3 lead to a 35W. Could you pls link down a 65W one?

Apologies, the link has now been fixed.

Apologies if I am just just not understanding, but does the 100W apply to only the usb ports? ie, if I plug in 4 usb connections to this adapter plus a regular plug on the back, will it be 100W divided between 4 (4 usb ports), or divided by 5 (4usb ports + 1 regular plug)? Thanks for the video, it was very good! Looking currently at getting the 140W version of this.

The AC regular plug on the front of the charger has 1250W, it’s completely separate to the usb ports on the bottom. The 100W travel adapter, has max 100W per USB-C port. Meaning if you use one or the other usb-c ports, you will get 100W when used one at a time. The moment you start using the other usb ports as well, it will start to split the 100W. For example, if you use both USB-C ports at the same time, the right most usb-c port will get 65W while the usb-c port to the left of it will get 35W totaling out to 100W. The USB-A ports are a bit different as the max you can get is 18W from each USB-A port individually.

@@zanevtech Thanks for explaining that was very clear! I ended up buying the 140W version in the prime day sales for £55 and should be perfect for what I need it for by the sounds of it! Thanks for both your video and your reply!

Not understanding your question. Do your buds charge with usb c?
@djodyfaza12
@djodyfaza12 6 месяцев назад
Bud will be fine even you plug to 1000w charger, most tech nowadays have smart system that will only receive power that they needed.

Is the construction mostly plastic or is it some metal? I feel like most of adapters are very flimsy
@zanevtech

your amazon link takes you to a different brand, it seems this same charger is under about 5 different brand names. Also people stating it doesn't give the stated power. wouldn't trust this in my house.

I ordered the 140w but the UK slider had pins on it that void the warranty if you break them.. bit concerning! Did you have to break any pins on these models?
@zanevtech
@zanevtech 23 дня назад
No, I didn’t have to break any pins on my 3 blocks.

Do you stilll need charger if you have this ? Whats the difference from a charger with gan
@zanevtech
@zanevtech 23 дня назад
You don't need a charging block as you can plug usb cables directly into this charger. A charger that is GaN will usually have a smaller enclosure, faster charging speeds and better efficiency.

Will this compatible for Korea? I have a layover to China
@zanevtech
@zanevtech 6 месяцев назад
Not sure. I think the Korean plugs are a little different compared to EU plugs. I don’t see Korea listed on the product description of the manufacturer.

Disappointed -looking for a power bank. You can buy cheaper non gan versions
