I don't understand how someone can grab his bike then grab his arm ? Is that not breaking the law? Why would laws be different for someone "protesting" ?
Actually could be deemed as a dangerous act of negligent behaviour and assault. I'm also a biker and if it wasn't my pride and joy, the trick would be to drop it when she grabbed him and sue her and the organisation for damages.
Protesting is one thing, grabbing the arm, which holds the steering, and throttle is one dangerously stupid thing. Can put others in danger. I think it's more than a simple assault.
Not exactly 'ramming'.How about the common assault on the biker as they tried to impede him going about his lawful business?Just Stop Oil is a public nuisance.
“Rams past?” More like “slowly negotiates a line of traffic disrupters.” Excellent work by the gentleman. I don’t know if I could’ve held my temper the moment the arm got grabbed.
Could have caused the Rider to lose control of his front brake or Throttle or loose his balance...common assault and tampering with a Motor Vehicle/ jeopardising Public Safety...??
Enforcing "hurtful speech" laws and ignoring laws against what these morons are doing. What about "citizens arrests", fine them jail them and it stops immediately.
Too busy sticking up for these so called "protesters" under some bullshit supreme court ruling that magically, all of a sudden says obstructing roads is defensible in a court. Police only want indisputable cases to go to court because otherwise they would lose money in lengthy mitigations etc. It's the sad truth, and unfortunately most people don't realise it's actually the court's decisions which has led us to the absolute state of our judicianary system now!

She needs to be held accountable for interfering with the motorcycle riders. There's no touching or grabbing a person on the motorcycle since it can cause a very serious accident. Where was the police?
They were busy dealing with serious crimes, like arresting a woman for THINKING she might pray for people outside an abortion clinic, or arresting a man with a blank piece of paper because of what THEY THINK he MIGHT be going to write on it.
He respectfully moved through the crowd carefully. This group does not have the right to prevent people from going somewhere for their personal agenda. Perhaps this motorcyclist needed to visit a dying friend or was a surgeon saving a life. Let's get real. NO RAMMING happened.
@@mazyzazie4048 absolutely, but the bigger issue is that protesters who block people don't really think that their own actions may be endangering others.
Because the law states one can only block the road with excuse, since there excuse is peaceful protest they can't get arrested. Dumb old law that needs to be changed, UK needs a PM with a backbone.
It's the same with these art galleries. People need to realize, most of these very famous art galleries are ran by progressive liberals. They don't care that these activists come in there and try to destroy stuff. They would probably be happy about it..
The fact that the media are painting the law abiding motorcyclist as the bad guy tells us all we need to know about who’s behind this. They’re allowing them to do it to get the public angry, so then they will accept laws which make it illegal to protest. It’s about taking away our rights
Excellent! As a fellow biker it's exactly what I would have done. As for the woman grabbing him, she would have been told what to do. Also, let's have it right, he didn't 'speed' away, he just rode away quite normally.
The people in the cars should have followed him I would have teach them a lesson that their parents should have taught them about disturbing other people with their Idiocracy 🤔👍
I’ve never had a motorbike but I can’t commend that person enough for the restraint shown. Wasn’t any ramming at all, he stopped and was grabbed by a loony so drove off. Excellent job.
Typical headline writing, catch the reader's eye with a bold, problematic statement. Small wonder people are so woefully malinformed/misinformed if they only do headline surfing.
Appeared to try to grab the throttle or keys, then she grabbed his arm, which in the US is assault. The protesters are blocking a highway, which is illegal, why aren't the police doing anything?
*Highway Act 1980 - Section 137;* _If a person, without lawful authority or valid excuse, in any way wilfully obstructs the free passage along a highway, they are guilty of an offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 51 weeks or a fine._
@@geoffboxell9301 No because they have been told not to, so they the government can pass new laws to restrict more freedoms under the guise that they need them to stop these types of protests
A shame the jobless idiots do not read the said Highway Act instead of obstructing hard working folk from going about their business. No doubt mummy and daddy will bail them out when they do eventually get arrested although plod never seem to be around to do their job.
Thanks for taking the time to post this, i was sure it is an offence, like putting your hand on someones car etc.... have to say , having known many drivers and motorcyclists of varying types.... this could have been a totally different outcome. Someone does that to me while riding is going to get "reppeled with extreme predjudice, and face the consiquences of their indescretions"...
The look on their faces after someone actually confronted them and went through their protest was priceless. First time they've ever experienced the word "no" in their lives.
they all looked scared when someone fights back, they are the type of people that when in large groups act confident, but there confidence is a facade and easily broken. Just like bullies.
They are all on the spectrum type.. Easily indoctrinated, personality defects, brought and paid for via university/ collage social engineering operatives GEORGE SOROS open society. NGOs. Very dangerous things are happening behind the spotlight.
@@no-oneinparticular7264 I have a mate in a chair as well. Completely based when on the scooter. I was teasing him about putting a red flag on it the other and he says, 'Yeah, they put a stupid flag on this and I ripped it off so no one can see me comin' Got to admire people down on their luck who adapt and own the whole lot - better than me.
Politicians, and therefore the police, want the public to get to breaking point with them so there is civil unrest and/or vigilante behaviour which will allow the government to crack down further on protests (the ones they don't like) and curtail more of our freedoms in the process all with public consent (due to us all having had enough of these and want to see our streets nack to normal).
Surely, if the police simply stand there and do nothing while these clowns block the public highway without good reason - which is an offence - then the police must be guilty of dereliction of duty?
@@sandesh9225 Underfunded? They are a lazy, load of useless woke prats, just another public body that we pay through the nose for and get nothing in return.
@sandesh9225 They were told to stand down in America as cities burned and people died. And in Europe they are to busy looking for mean thoughts and speech😂
Take their coats, shoes, credit and payment cards, spectacles and anything else made from petroleum. That included their vehicles, because how did they get where they are? No arguments, just stop idiots.
@@DuncanHarbison I corrected an erroneous headline. The protesters broke the law by grabbing onto him physically in order to stop his journey basically trying to hold him hostage. He harmed nobody and freed himself from their grip. He did not RAM through them. They should keep their protest on the pavement and their hands off of people who are just trying to go about their day.
@@DuncanHarbison Well maybe the morons should stick to the path and get off the road, she grabbed his bike and grabbed him he done the right thing getting away from the nutjob.
"The biker rammed straight past the shocked protesters and rode off at speed" What it should have said... Man trying to get to work so he can provide for his family gets caught up by jobless idiots and rode off doing the speed limit.
To be fair, this is all about getting attention and it's working. These "morons" are actually very cleverly triggering a big demographic in the population and the government are going to have to respond. The morons are the people that think reacting violently will somehow make them go away. It will have the exact opposite effect.
@@madt543 kinda the opposite way round tbh, in UK raising your voice and shouting at someone is verbal assault, and assault charges scale up from there, its why its almost impossible to compare US and UK violent crime figures as the baseline is so different.
I've said on multiple occasions, if my little girl is in the car and i need to get her to the hospital for any reason I'm not slowing down at all. And we already know for a fact they have held up people getting to hospital.
@@DuncanHarbison He didnt drive theough them, he even stopped and just wanted to go but they didnt left him and he didnt care. These retards shouldnt be blocking the road to begin with. I bet they went home with an uber after the protest.
Of course. The people understand what's going on. Anyone with a brain understands this is an illegitimate form of protest. It's illegal and dangerous besides just screwing up other people's days. But the power structures want the anarchy. They want society to break down. The media feed off of it and make money off of the sensation. And the degenerates trying to crash society want it that way so they can have their Great Reset and steal even more power and money for themselves. The People don't want that. They just want the civilized society they were promised, basic law and order, so they can go about their day in peace. I have no sympathy at all for people who want to disrupt that humble aspiration.
This is the self-entitlement of the left! They don't care about the law, or what's right, or what's risky or dangerous; they only care about their political aims, that everyone will ultimately bow down to the Party and the Party's dictates.

All my respect to the guy. Im a motorcyclist myself and I applaud the way he calmly passed the idiots and morons illegally blocking the road. The lady touching the motorcyclist should be arrested immediately, that was a very, very dangerous move!
The problem the seems to occur more and more often is that people that say they have the right to make others feel uncomfortable are not willing to accept any uncomfortablness when it comes time to allow others to practice freely their rights. Very hypocritical.
The biker showed great care and restraint as he carefully eased his way through a load of people who were VOLUNTARILY and knowingly obstructing a public highway

Imagine the media showing the smallest amount of interest and identifying these people. And them waking up every day to find their homes blockaded, their cars unable to move. Any public transport they try to use gets blocked. Every time they try to go to market or a bar they are blocked at every single turn to the point of leaving them hysterical.
Well done to the Motor Cyclist. We should not lose the right to peaceful protest but the time has come to ensure that protests do not cause problems for members of the public.
This is exactly why they are 'allowed' to do it. More laws will be bought in, and the public will agree, unwittingly adding to more losses of our freedom
Let me get this straight.... A motorcyclist stops as people are blocking a PUBLIC ROAD... A lady grabs his arm and his bike... He proceeds to drive on that PUBLIC ROAD... While not harming or touching ANYONE and HE"S wrong??? Meanwhile, these people that are blocking a PUBLIC ROAD and the Police do nothing about it??? Are we living in the Twilight Zone???
