I think Moses is the problem, not Trisha. Trisha is a whole mess, but she wanted to be close with Ethan and Hila..it was Moses’s jealousy that got the best of him.
Hila is in such a touchy position. I think she has realized that her brother is a bad person (just my opinion) and she doesn’t want to talk about him at all bc her other family still sees him in a good light. I am not understanding how so many people forget what happened between Hila, Ethan, and Moses. It all happened in front of our eyes when Trisha posted all of their texts. Two of Moses' exes came forward saying that he SA 'd them by stealthing them, completely without consent. Trisha texted Ethan and Hila "How can you not believe him?? He's your brother! You know him!" and they both replied that apparently they don't know him and they are believing his victims and taking their side over someone who will no longer be a brother to either of them. This is between them and Moses, it's not about Trisha anymore. I don't think it has been for a very long time.
I believe so too. I noticed Ethan is way more comfortable mentioning or talking about trisha when prompted or not. But moses is never mentioned and if he is, his name isn't used all the time.

As someone who speaks an endangered language natively. I will never understand how people get bothered by others trying to speak their language. Even if they pronounce everything wrong, that is not an issue, some people spend their entire life trying to stop their language or dialect from disappearing, meanwhile others get shamed for not pronouncing words properly in a language they didn’t grow up in…. I feel so bad for the kids as well in this case. Malibu and Bruce are family and they’ve never even met and who knows when and if that’ll ever happen. As a mom myself I can see the change in Trisha, she’s finally truly at peace and has the blessing she’s always wanted which is a child… and she can’t even like share that child with her own family. It’s so sad we will never have a frenemies where they maybe have their babies on there 🥲.
My two older brothers have not really talked for 25-30 years - I say really because they learned to be civil wjen they had kids and we all even lived together when the kids were still babies (and I was 10, lol. My bros are 15 and 19 years older) but then shit happened.... The younger brother has not personally met our younger niece and nephew and the eldest hasn't really bonded with our other nephew. It sucks because I see how they BOTH love the kids. But who knows? One is finally willing to patch things up and the other isn't being as stubborn as he nornally is. I doubt Hila will ever see this and I don't want to impose upon family but please don't let decade pass by where you can't at least figure out how to get along well enough for the kids. :( The cousins deserve to be friends and I know they want to see the baby too. okay. Ethan and Hila believe the victims. I believe Trisha even mentions it in a fit of rage in one of the early Frenemies podcasts but I think everyone just brushed it off as well and Moses probably convinced Trisha to take his side eventually as well.
I definitely agree that Moses did something. Moses usually is the calm rational one he would somehow convince Trisha to move on so I dont believe that they still dont talk just over frenemies. And Trisha has her problems but I really don't think In the end she would be okay with being the reason they don't speak especially for the kids sake. Malibu has cousins she never sees. Something else happened that really tore them apart.
Trisha leaked texts between them in 2021. They stopped talking to Moses because of the allegations against him and because they believe that he is a predator. Ethan has pretty much entirely forgiven Trisha because he blames her actions on her disorder, but knows that it caused so much emotional distress for Hila that it isn't worth bringing her back into their lives. But the main issue is Moses.

Ethan truly felt something when he voiced the truth that Trisha’s baby is his actual family and he is Malibu’s uncle. You can tell he had a lot of conflict in him about that.
You can tell just how hurt Hila is about not being in contact with Moses. She mentioned it very briefly recently on one of the episodes but said that he was the sibling she was the closest to and now they no longer communicate at all. Trisha really must feel proud of herself, she even joked/mocked Ethan and Hila about this being her plan to ruin their bond with Moses and she ended up succeeding because Moses turned out to be desperate for money and attention which was probably a result of feeling some jealousy towards Hila as his sibling since she is successful and popular, etc but it’s so sad to see this happen to Hila’s family and I hope that one day they can mend their relationship at least a little bit, especially since Trisha is now the mother of Moses’s child and they will now be forever connected to Trisha whether they like it or not (and they rightfully probably hate it).

Tbh, I think Moses was being shady and told Trisha a ton of lies about not being close at all to Hila/Ethan. It’s personal and I think it has to do with Moses. If you listen to what they're saying the issue isn't even between Trisha and Ethan anymore. It's Moses and Hila where the big problem is, who knows what really happened there though. The entire time they were close, he was shitting on Ethan and Hila to anyone who would listen. Saying they don’t deserve their success while E&H were graciously giving him jobs whenever he couldn’t pay his bills. But I think the main thing is he was accused by two or three women of stealthing, which is considered rape. E&H had an argument with Trish on this topic, and they stated they believed the victims, so essentially Hila believes her brother is a rapist.
My brother did the same thing with me. Often times it was a 4 v 1 because I was the only one who called out how psychotic his wife was yet they and my parents were never on my side. I was never aggressive until she did things like kill my fish that I would blow up and somehow I still was not being reasonable for wanting my brother to get out of that toxic relationship. It finally ended when he physically attacked me after I confronted gum about the freaking AC and made my nose bleed and lip swell. It took years for us to finally make up but that hurt will still always be there.
