Pilot's Perspective: This flight is essentially a sequel to the original flight flown in December, 2023. The skies were clearer and the New Haven skyline in the background was visible. There was doubt over visibility improvement at first, but shortly after taking off, the skies were clearing - the Long Island Sound visible in the distance. Winds were calm; as the sun's rays pierced through the clouds, the scorching heat was felt again.
