Actually a little bit of high quality olive oil salt and pepper you grill a half of a head of romaine (cut lengthwise) Throw on some balsamic vinegar, spices and sun-dried tomatoes, maybe a sprinkle of quality parmesan is quite delicious!!

I once tried to grill my lettuce, and then I started hysterically laughing at myself thinking of how Gordon would be eating me alive for it.

Nothing like going to a restaurant and having a meal that reminds you of mom’s good home cooking! I’m still stunned that he cleaned his plate and I’ve seen this clip several times! There’re episodes where he goes back to restaurants to check if they’re maintaining high standards and tasted what they prepared him. To this day I have NEVER seen him clean his plate and have a look on his face like he could eat another!

you know i'm enjoying this channel and the full episodes just as much as everyone else, but you can't really say that gordon ramsay is a good person. anyone who thinks that needs to watch the two documentaries from 99 and 2000 on him called "boiling point" and "beyond boiling point" where he literally treats his staff inhumanely by making them work in the heat of an unventilated kitchen and where he discriminates against a fat worker by hitting them on the head and calling them names. you can find it all on youtube. i mean sure people can change and he certainly did, but i think it's just amazing how badly and angrily he acted back then and no one knows about it anymore. his image has been washed by kitchen nightmares.

Eh, technically many foods are fresher if frozen than not. Peas and spinach come to mind. Unless you're getting it from a roadside stand, it tends to be comparatively old. For the aforementioned foods, that doesnt matter unless going in a salad or sandwich. For things like seafood and fruit, it very much does.
