re: McCall and Miller vs Edwards...no doubt Edwards is the better 3 point shooter but you look at last seasons stats and McCall averaged 17 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds and was a top defender in the league too. Miller had 19, 6 and 4...both were right up there in the stats with the best in the comp. Edwards doesnt play any defense and I want to see him do a bit more in that area and do what McCall did and take some of the better players in the opposition, lead the defense and see how he goes vs the best teams in the comp like United, Kings, Wildcats.
I know it's still very early but i think the Hawks and Kings will finish top 2 by season's end. The Kings are stacked with talent and just need to sort out a few issues which Goorj will do quickly but i still feel the Hawks will finish top of the ladder. Adelaide will turn things around and will be there fighting for a finals play in spot. Could see Adelaide, Tasmania and Breakers fighting for the last 2 play in spots . New Zealand has surprised me early and it's great to see them winning games after a crazy off season. Hawks, Kings, Melbourne United, Perth, Tassie and Adelaide are my top 6 this season. Great show as always guys.
Lost all respect for Rucker when he said the JJs stole the championship as if MU was entitled to it. Shows how much does not know. I can’t believe Lee left tas to go to Melbourne. Dumbest decision ever
