If you’re readin’ this And you’re needin’ this I hope you succeed in this Just keep proceedin’ this. I know nothin’ about you But don’t doubt you Ever wonder what is RU-vid without YOU? That’s like a ring without bling, A chip without dip, Surf without turf, Jails without cells. Schools without rules, Ben without Jen, Mike without Ike Or Blues without clues. ✌️

even the kayfabe spot of HBK trying to hit Tyson in the ring its like "dude just no" but yeah if HBK tried it for real there would have been no more HBK
A heel's job is to make the audience boo you. A brother's job is to torment his sister. Dom saw the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, and took it without hesitation. A true professional on both fronts.
@@AsserFouad then he's doing his job right. Like I love Dom dom but also it's fun to boo him and I'm so happy he's playing along and just running with it 😂
Remember, this happened less than a year after the Bite Fight when Mike was still banned from boxing, so this was peak unstable, rageful, volatile, drug-using, drinking Tyson. He attacked people for breathing, so HBK would have woken up in the ER.
I don't think it would be as Impactful without the Blood tbh. While the KoR 96 promo was awesome, that night was in my opinion the start of it all when it comes to SCSA.
Absolutely agree. If anyone sees this comment, go watch their WWE Rivals episode plus their individual A&E Biographies. There's a reason they're masters at their craft.
Tht match is still one of the best, if not the best WM ever gave. Ending was so satisfying too because, Steve never tapped out (face) but Brett sorta won (heel).
Shawn Michaels should be the last person to call out something disrespectful, he was a legit diva during the 1990s so to see him call out the Austin 3:16 spot was disrespectful is legit hypocrisy.
Michaels even tried ruining the moment in ring by exaggerating chewing his gum when he was supposed to be selling. Austin and Tyson knew how to deal with a spoiled baby and the shirt over the face was the perfect response to HBK acting like a brat.
Shawn would've had TWO crooked eyes, if he would've called himself confronting Tyson back then! He would've got a dose of "F*** around & find out"! 🤣🤣🤣
Flair & Savage were fined $5000 for blading, not $500,000. A story I heard about the blade job is that it was Savage who asked Flair to do it until he acquiesced to the idea. Here is a quote from Flair's book: "“When Randy made his comeback, he wanted emotion, and asked if I could bleed. I agreed - even though, at the time, Vince was still marketing his company as family entertainment and had forbidden any bleeding. … Vince was pissed about the blood. ‘Just as you get this close to greatness,’ he scolded, ‘you do something stupid like this and take two steps backward.'”"
I was there at Wrestlemania 39 when Shane busted his quads. At first, it seemed like part of the show until he wasn't getting up immediately. They recovered from the injury very quickly! Quite amazing to see in real time honestly 🔥
It's kinda crazy how the simplest move can cause catastrophic injury. If I was performing a leap frog, at the very worst I'd think "Oh maybe I might sprain my ankle if I land badly or strain my thigh..." But holy crap, a torn quad is when the muscle comes off the freakin' bone. The human body is paradoxically as fragile as it is resilient.
Shane was 53 when he tore it. I don't know how much conditioning he did leading up to 39, but at that age, torn muscles are just more likely than when he was 33.
plus he had a messed up back on top of it all. Theres that picture of LV police officers (who were all armed by the way) backing down from Tyson when he raised his fists. I'm not sure what universe HBK thought he could stand a chance
@@killolot AGREED!! Arguably the best performer of all time in any era!! He can make a great match with anyone but was an arrogant a$$hole in his prime!!!
HBK was notorious in that time for picking fights with people he shouldn't have. There's a story about him from either trip or xpac hbk fighting a group of Marines in a bar. In a bar filled with military on leave. I'm sure you can figure out how well that went for Shawn......
@@ismailkhan_v3820 123 kid, Bob Holly, Tatanka & the Smoking Guns vs IRS, Jeff Jarrett, Rick Martel & the Headshrinkers. Bob Holly mentioned it in his book. He also said Randy Savage was PISSED at Shawn & Razor backstage for being so selfish
Stone Cold involved in two of the most acclaimed matches in WWE history at a Mania, the mentioned match Vs Bret Hart, along with his mega showdown with The Rock at Mania 17, which led to his controversial heel turn.
Electrician here. No he wasn’t inches from cutting power to the arena. Probably just the feeder WWE used for their stuff like the titantron and their lights. The permanent stuff would have been fine. Building feeds are protected better than that.
I was at WM24 in Orlando. It happened to fall on my birthday that year. I didn't know anything bad happened until i got back to the motel and heard it on the news or a local radio station after leaving. On a side note, If you ever get the chance to watch WrestleMania in Orlando, don't miss it. It was like 3 vacations in 1. 1st you got WrestleMania weekend and all the stuff happening around the city like meet and greets and activities like entrances where you walk the ramp to a wrestler's theme. Then you got the theme parks like Universal Studios and Disney World which is normally the reason people go to Orlando. Then you got the nightlife, it was so much fun partying with people from other countries in town for WrestleMania.
About the Golf cart spot, it reminds me of when Savage tied up Crush backstage and tried to hang him upside down for the finish to their match at Mania X, but couldn't get him to stay tied up. If you're doing backstage stuff during a match, its probably best to shoot it the day before to correct any mistakes, get multiple takes, and make sure everything goes well.
Meanwhile Michaels tried to ruin Austin’s moment by assing off via exaggerating how he was chewing his gum while he was supposed to be selling. Austin and Tyson saw what he was pulling and responded with a masterclass of embarrassing a spoiled brat.
Why? Stephanie and Shane didn’t do anything wrong as far as I’m aware. They didn’t blacklist the entire McMahon family. A picture of Vince Sr. is still in the opening of the WWE intro.
I was floor level for WM24, opposite the pyro incident. I saw what happened, and when I found out it was the rope/cable pyro, I was so angry. Like, why would you use that in an open dome arena?? The higher up you get, the more wind you get. To anyone that sets up pyro for events like these, always remember that nature is unpredictable. Earlier that day, there were no clouds, just the sun beating down on us. After the first couple of matches we suddenly had clouds and a light drizzle that cooled us off. The fact that the technicians didn't take into account "Oh, an open dome? Maybe we shouldn't add something that the wind can catch and swing into the fans", makes me worried for any other fans in the nose-bleed sections.
The Becky Lynch thing is interesting. Traditionally refs are told that if the person's shoulders are down, you count the pin regardless of whatever the script might be. I guess that an accidental pin is easier to come back from than a clearly hesitated one. It was a close call though, I wonder who got the most heat for it backstage.
Ronda Rousey losing without her shoulders being down. Becky Lynch was suppose to get her with a cheap roll up to continue the feud, but The ref blew the count.
Andre was supposed to beat Hogan at Wrestlemania 3. Andre tried to leapfrog Hogan but he didn't jump high enough and Hogan slammed him accidentally. Then the Hulkster slipped and pinned Andre by mistake.
Lmfaooooo imagine Shawn Michaels fuming and pissed then being knocked out brutally. Wish Shane would’ve just let him, dude would be humbled real quick.
With respect. Micheals is, was, a magnificent athlete. But "Iron Mike" Tyson is, was, an absolute f*cking BEAST! IF they had gotten into a "shoot fight??" It would only take 1-2 hits for Tyson to lay Michaels down! He may not be a wrestler but make no mistake, Tyson comes from a sport where they DON'T pull punches! And he is the YOUNGEST world heavyweight champion in ALL of boxing history! He is one of those people that makes you think, "I'd rather piss of the Incredible Hulk than piss off Tyson!" 😅😂🤣
5:50 how did Vince know the injuries were minor for every single person? It sounded more like “I’m sorry that happened but I’m not paying a dime for what happened, you guys are ok” 🙄😂
Yea the WM13 iconic image of Stone Cold with the blood, absolutely no chance that hits near as hard with a clean face. They are legends for that and so much more.
I know Shawn was considered a grade A asshole at the time, but I kind of understand his indignation. He’d been with WWF nearly a decade, through the lean years, and now he’s putting over a guy who’d only been there a couple years, and it’s supposed to be a huge watershed moment for the company, and he did it with a broken back, unsure if he’d be able to wrestle again afterwards. And then they put the other guy’s shirt over your face as if to say “you’re out, it’s all about him now.” It’d be a little hard not to be in your feels in that moment
Shango never missed his cue. He said he went out at the time they told him to go out, so it's the folk backstage who were at fault for that, not Charles.
What was Shawn Michaels going to do about it? U can play it off like he was being restrainted by Shane all u want! No he wasn't! If he really wanted Mike, he would have gotten past Shane! He KNEW better! Mike would have knocked that boy out back through the door! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
4:15 It'd hard to say that match was underrated. I mean, it WAS part of the single greatest WWE event in the history of the promotion and one of the greatest professional wrestling/sports entertainment events ever. Even if it's considered the worst match of the card...it still tops many main events from other years. I absolutely enjoyed this match. It was so fun to see Kane get to add a hint of comedy to his otherwise serious character. Thankfully, he rolled with that for the rest of his time in the company.
If you noticed why Tyson put the tshirt over HBKs face is because HBK was assing off when he was supposed to be selling. He did a mock up exaggerated knocked out face and started chewing gum in an exaggerated fashion trying to ruin Austin’s moment. Both saw what he was doing and expertly stopped it. Austin cracks a smile when Tyson covers HBKs face too.
WM13 was AMAZING. I was there! I still remember how it felt when all the sudden we were chanting for SCSA. Gotta be honest though. I was more about UT winning the title. Was always about Taker :D
That Hart vs Austin match saved the event WrestleMania XIII. I have not watched wrestling in about 20 years, but Mania 13 ranked as one of the worst Manias of the first 20. Hart and Austin did their thing and it was a masterpiece! 💪🏾
I was at Wrestlemania 24 and was on the side that the cable broke. It was after Taker won and the cable broke and fell on top of us. It was extremely hot and burned my shoulder pretty bad. I didn't even know what happened until I got home and watched it on the DVR and saw the cable break and the Pyro go in to the crowd 2 sections away from us.
The original planned finish was to have Becky make Ronda tap out. Which in hindsight would've been a better finish. Seeing how Ronda almost immediately quit after that. It's well documented that Ronda redused to tap out. Thinking it would make her look bad. She wasn't very good in the first place. It wasnt her only botch of the match either. Her and Charlotte botched the table spot. They were supposed to throw Becky through a table set up in the corner. They completely botched it.
Pretty sure Rousey said on CVV's podcast that the finish wasn't a botch, that was the planned finish, she just didn't think her shoulders were flat and was trying to flatten out, not kick out.
I think Paul Heyman (🎤) needs to consider creating a brutal, vicious Faction consisting of The Beast Incarnate (☠️), Oba Femi 🥵🏆 & Bron Breakker 💔!! Heck, Brock doesn't even have to wrestle. His presence is intimidating enough.....🤔💭
They should’ve allowed Shawn to confront Mike. It would’ve been a punch in the face that 90’s Shawn needed. Although, even if Shane wasn’t there, 90’s Shawn Michaels always gave me “You’re lucky he’s holding me back” energy 😅😅
As a fan at home, I would have booked the ending of WM 35 as a double submission with Becky and Charlotte locking in both of their finishers on Rhonda. Whether or not that would have been feasible or whether or not people would have wanted it to go down that way would be questionable. But personally I think in the long run, it would have been a great idea to set up for the next PLE back then.
I never understood the hate on Snoop Dogg and The Miz from WrestleMania 39 They improvised on the spot in front of thousands of people and on camera and made a hilarious moment to cover up the fact that Shane actually hurt himself It was a brilliant piece of improv
