What's the difference then ? It's a midcap fund , Also holding a 100 stocks is risky

as risky as any other midcap or small index but have much better returns

You are not doing justice to the parent index by shifting 80% weight towards the mid caps while there is also a quality factor to weed out bad small cap stocks. I would rather go for an active aggressive midcap fund.
