Bruh I be hitting power slides no helmet risking my neck in the rain. I don't want the public to know I be dropping tabs going 100 mph downhill like a goon. 🕳️
Heck. I used to skid my bicycle like that 50 years ago. What WAS the big deal supposed to be about? Braking into turns is so old this video is laughable.
@@numbzinger350 Lol, then why don't you go make a better vid? Oh that's right...All mouth, no skills right? And only mouthy online, too. But then, look at me, talking smack to a 14 year old in youtube comments...
Almost 2 years later.. To the haters, I'm aware I spoke too much in the video and the shots are repetitive. When filming this turn with Josh, I filmed it multiple times from different angles for editing purposes. What I totally forgot is how much gas he had. With the sun going down and being up in the mountains, we wouldn't have had enough time to get gas and go back up. To the people leaving nice comments, I really appreciate it! Crazy to see 1.5 million views today. Learned a lot from making this video and hope you stick around for more.
Obviously extremely good rider & great bike skills but as said repetative on same corner. As a suggestion - if fuel capacity is an issue with the tank size why don't you take a truck or van as well with cans of fuel & then could carry on riding for the day to diffrrent locations. My hike like most road bikes can run for 120-130miles on a tank - whatever the capaci6ies of bikes then calculate fuel required before go off!
Thank you guys! It was nice to meet you at the event. Returned the sub! Best of luck with the channel!

Nick, it's so nice to see you developing! I've been following you since around 5k subs, and keep watching every single minute of your content. Really great content, and these slides by Josh are just fucking amazing!
EOS - edgesofsupermotard not really impressed at all tbh all I seen was a bit of drift action and a couple of wheelies and groups of young lads do that stuff on a daily basis around here and lots of places. I'm very pleased to this footage was shot professionally and safely. Perhaps seeing this might make others choose closed tracks / roads
Yes. So Awesome. we can see the counter-steering so well, extreme, causing the drift... what a beautiful clutch and throttle control. Amazing dare devils.
I haven't watched any of your videos in a while and this one really blew me away with the level of quality of both the video and its content, it's really a few steps up to what I can remember since your last video that I watched. Just beautiful and wow. Congrats and keep it up man!
That kid has been a dumbass since the day he first threw a leg over a bike. I have personally seen that idiot do things that no one with self preservation skills would ever do......10x/ race. And in a lot of cases my view was from 2 feet away. The reason you don't see pro riders do this on the street.......is that it's incredibly stupid. Not because they can't. There are a hundred guys that can drift a bike through corners like that.
I´m not the one who decides if it´s stupid to do or not and im pretty sure neither you . 99% of pro riders wouldn´t be caught death on the streets. This rider deserves all the respect, he goes on meetups and group rides with your tipycal local riders he sure does dumb(your opinion) shit squiddin ,wheelies, speedin, drifs down the streets but he´s a motorcycle lover and he goes to the streets to have fun and ride like everyone who´s not paid to ride does, just enjoy the machine that he and us luckily and with sacrifices have the opportunity to have between our legs.
Jason Etter is right unfortunately. I've been around the kid at the track. It's a shame really because he could have been so much more. He's almost 30 - hopefully he's grown up since those days.
@@jasonetter9171 A couple questions. What are you currently doing to promote the sport of riding? I'll address your comments. "That kid has been a dumbass since the day he first threw a leg over a bike." - Your opinion, myopic as it may be. How long have you known him? Fact - He races Superbike in MotoAmerica, making him more skilled than both of us, and 99.9% of Sportbike riders in the USA. "I have personally seen that idiot do things that no one with self preservation skills would ever do.....10x/ race. And in a lot of cases from 2 feet away." Again, your opinion. Have you ever raced with him? I have. He's aggressive, he's also very skilled. Fact - Risk tolerance is an individual characteristic. Yours is simply much lower than his. Thats why you're whining on the internet and Josh is getting paid to ride a motorcycle. An example for you...."motorcycle riding is so dangerous." -Fred the golfer. Fred has never ridden a motorcycle, doesn't even have a basic understanding of riding and can't understand how anyone would put themselves in such danger. Freds risk tolerance is low. You wouldn't want Fred in your corner if $hit ever hit the fan. "The reason you don't see pro riders do this on the street......is that it's incredibly stupid. Not because they can't. There are a hundred guys that can drift a bike through corners like that." Yet again, Jasons opinion. My opinion, we are both entitled to one right? I wasn't there during the filming. If the road were truly closed that would make it a "closed course." In such case, the riders and film crew assumes all risk....back to risk tolerance. If the road was not closed, mildly reckless. I say that because I feel he was riding well within his limits. That being said, I don't condone this type of riding by the majority, myself included. Josh has done a helluva lot to promote the sport and will continue to do so. He does his best to foster the talent of younger riders (Herrin Compound) The guy is also very approachable in the pits. The moral of the story to you and every other person who choses to speak of someones character, talent, etc. via the internet. Don't do it. I think there is a word to describe what most of the haters have in common....envy. Don't be a Jason.
Idk how many times I’ve watched yours and adey’s video riding with Josh. Love the mix of riding and the interview. Pretty cool and humble dude! Keep up the good work!
I have never seen a bike drift & I ain’t never tryin’ it! This looks like extreme danger of a violent high-side catapult slam!!! No thank you, but the video was exciting!
Dude your cinematography is CRIIIISSSPPPPYYY! I watched it at 720, and it still was crazy crisp looking. Had an unreal look to it! Stunts were sick too!
the reason for these thumbs down are basically his edit skills, slow motions, awful music choice(engines and skids sound better), also too much talk. we are here to see the guy drifting, half of the video is him talking.
Probably all the car nazis who hate sportbikes, the people who ride them and their use of streets--closed off or not. Then there is the Motorcycle Safety Brigade. This video wasn't about safety. People suck. Pets are where it's at. Oh yeah, and superbikes.
Gotta be a douchebag to no like this. CAGERS. Some don't like Nick because he doesn't ride Moto. Why TF does the camera man need to ride? If he was riding there would be less footage.
Not sure why ppl would hate on this. The sheer amount of skill and chestnuts required to do what they are doing on those bikes is impressive. Your shots really display that well.
I bet all of you missed the one handed drift at the very end of the video and that's exactly why Josh pulls a nice middle finger mid-drift to those who couldn't bother to watch the whole video. Fantastic video Nick.
Hector Mariscal problem with this video is that it manipulates inexperienced riders to try similar things and a lot of people get hurt trying. And they all get very smart after recovering from injuries. This video is beautiful. Most people are silly and ignore the line saying this has been done by professional stunts on a closed public road. It’s social responsibility. Or lack of thereof. And you are ignorant if not abusing calling idiots people that think differently to you.
You think josh hasn't got hurt learning these skills? That is part of the sport, if you are afraid of getting hurt find a new sport. Inexperienced riders have the potential to get hurt no matter what they are doing on a bike.
so that's the definition of "ridiculous video" to them ? a powerslide done and re-done and slowed on camera ! ... OK and u gotta read the comments of people getting wet about it ...
Russ, interesting comment. That is pro level riding to drift around that corner and keeping it out of the guard rail. That takes some serious huevos to even think of attempting. I do amateur track days with lots of run off room. I wouldn't even attempt that drift there. So, Russ, post up where you are coming from and what is your background in racing bikes? This ain't dirt bike riding on an oval track doing 45 mph in a continuous drift. Even Valentino Rossi has stated on numerous occasions that he wouldn't even think of doing the Isle of Wright (or is it Mann?). So, that is why your comment is so suspect. Post up if you got the credentials.
Had to give it a thumbs down, too much talking not enough action. Need's to take a lesson from who ever does the Ken Block videos, let the video speak for itself.
