hey bro sorry to bother but i’ve been wanting to get into airsoft for a while. i’m considering getting the ssg1, is that your gun? also, how did you get the tracer to fit under the carbon guard rail? i was looking at the tapp airsoft guard rail but i don’t know if the tracer will fit under it. thanks!!
No bother at all! It’s actually just a G&G CM16 SRS m4. I liked the ssg1, but didn’t like that there was still play in the stock even when locked. So I basically made my own using Tapp parts (the carbon fiber handguard, the angled drop stock, and the carbon fiber stock). An acetech lighter s and acetech blaster (the new spitfire) both fit the Tapp handguard from my experience. Good luck!
@@teambert679 thanks so much! One more question, would the stock still wobble on the ssg1 if it was replaced with the tapp drop stock adapter? I know it comes with one already, I just like the carbon stock way better. Once again thanks so much for the help!
@@hhhhhhhhgv the only ones I’ve used personally are the Kythera, Jack, and F1. The Kythera didn’t fit my play style so I got rid of it. The jack and f1 are pretty similar, but the jack has a solenoid that is easy to find/replace, while the f1 has a proprietary solenoid. I know this because mine broke due to manufacturing defect, and they were able to send me the last one they had in stock. Go for a jack if you can find one. They just go out of stock quickly so you might have to wait.
@@hhhhhhhhgv oh regarding the stock: you are correct. If you replace the drop stock that comes on it with tapp’s, it won’t move at all because the Tapp ones aren’t adjustable. But keep in mind, the actual stock and the drop stock adapter are separate parts. You’d need to order both if you want to get rid of the wiggle, and have a carbon fiber stock.
