It is okay to feel alone. Everyone does from time to time. It doesn't matter if you have no friends or family at all or if you maybe have alot of friends and a loving family that cares about you. Anyone feels alone sometimes. But you have to remember that you are never ever really alone. There is always you. In our everyday life we never spend time with ourselves at all, with all these distractions like phones, social media, free time activities, etc. coming in handy. But if you are on your own, by yourself, no phone, no TV, no books, no food, no drinks, nothing, just you by yourself you will recognize that there is always a kind of "voice" talking to us that we numb and ignore. And by that I don't mean a scary voice like you might hear if you're suffering from schizofrenia. The voice is asking alot of questions. "Why are you alone?" "Why are you unloved?" "Why are you worthless?" Now, obviously you are not unloved and you are not worthless. But if you answer that question you will find out why you feel like you are. It might appear to be scary. If you think about it you will probably want to push that thought away but what I want you to do is to hold that thought, take it in, deal with it. It is like opening a closet and you think that behind that closet there is a monster. That is what I like to symbolize as fear. But the truth is that the monster behind the closet is only a bluff. Every inch that you open that closet wider it will be harder to continue and every inch will become more scary until eventually you opened it fully and realised that nothing was there. That's what it feels like to let go of it. This will sound confusing to alot of people but if you try to spend some time just by your own or maybe take yourself out for dinner (no phone, just you by your own) you will start to think about alot of stuff and you will realise that we are all talking to ourselves inside our head all the time. Conclusion: You might feel alone sometimes, but you never are.
