I was a major tomboy as a kid. I loved climbing trees, playing with trucks in the dirt, played with all the boys in sports, you name it. Additionally, I hated wearing dresses. I just want to say this...if someone were to tell me that my behavior may be a concern or that perhaps I was a boy in a girl's body, that might have really made me question and believe that maybe they were right. I'm a married mother of three children and although I'm still somewhat of a tomboy, I absolutely love and embrace being a woman. I don’t agree with this type of teaching to young children. They should just play and have fun as children!! Most people truly don't know who they are until they're adults. Please, let children be children.
I was a tomboy all my childhood and it wasn't until I was 13 when I heard about transgender. I questioned it and I tried it out by using a different name and pronouns but it didn't feel right . Children are smarter than you think . Also people are letting children to be children. But growing up is about discovering yourself. Discovering what feels comfortable , what you like , what you don't like . Things like that! Also no trans kids are getting any type of surgeries unless a therapist agrees they can cause harm to themselves if they don't get it . But that is still when they are teens . Most trans kids take hormone/puberty blockers, which cause no harm to their bodies and have been used for decades for kids who started puberty way too early, it is also completely reversible .

My son let his two female pre-school friends dress him up in a tutu, and my daughter has a worm farm. He's still a boy...and she's still a girl. And yet, when a girl played with "boyish toys," the teacher told her she was a boy! They don't even listen to their own words!

The 90's were great. I was a tomboy as a kid, played in mud with the boys - there was never any kind of issue, you never felt pressured to act in a certain gendered way - we were free to just play. These new ideologies are over the top crazy

Like anything created for food, it can unfortunately be used for harm as well. Consider a parents right to force or forbid a surgical procedure. Let’s assume for the sake of argument that it’s a matter of life or death. Do the parents rights to forbid at the cost of the child’s life out-way the child’s right to life? I do recognize this hypothetical situation is more dire then a lot of these gender debate, but you must always consider the extreme reach these choices can have. Look at woman’s rights to bodily autonomy. We say you can’t abort a pregnancy, quickly turns into we have the right to make you have children.

My 3 year old daughter, loves playing in the dirt, jumping in puddles, playing with dinosaurs, cars, trucks, and trains, however she also enjoys wearing dresses regularly, wearing very feminine accessories, and referring to herself as a princess. She is a child, simply exploring and learning about many different things. I don’t believe this very natural process has anything to do with gender or gender confusion. It has everything to do with children simply exploring the world around them and finding out what they do and don’t enjoy doing. My daughter also enjoys listening to music, dancing, and singing. She finds these things to be fun. Let’s stop characterizing everything as related to gender and just allow children to enjoy their one opportunity to be carefree little ones.

i know several people home schooling. I also know a person not home schooling who's kid did become confused about her gender because of this bs. The kid is very clearly very feminine and yet the teacher convinced the kid she was trans because she is interested in cars. So next thing you know the kid is going by male pronouns and chest binding, and then attempts suicide because the kid has lost friends, is still attracted to boys and is confused as fk. Kid's better now. switched schools and went back to being herself. no fkin gender lables. this sheet in schools is really toxic.

In my first (and only) year of teaching, I had a 6 year old male student who liked to dress up and snuggle and be affectionate. I watched students tell him that he acted like a girl. I saw him confused by this statement. I defended him and said that it had nothing to do with that. He is allowed to be affectionate and he can wear costumes. But after just a few months, I saw him playing the part more and more much to some students delight. Then the parents told us that he was transitioning to being a girl. In love, I told them that I could not give education to all of the students about this, but I would do my best to help their child feel loved. So the school brought in someone else to teach the students about this. For the rest of the year, I saw several children absolutely terrified and confused by this. I had multiple conversations of little 6 year olds in tears asking why this was happening and if it would happen to them. I saw the transitioned student get more and more confused until by the end of the year, he said he was a dog and would only bark. The entire thing was one of the most disgusting things I had ever seen. This was a creative 6 year old little boy who was easily convinced to do things. He needed parents to tell him when creativity should be used and when reality should be affirmed. He would have been a much more stable child. And on the way, so many other children were damaged as well. I quit after that year. I told the school, I couldn't stand by and watch children be traumatized in this way. Now I homeschool my kids because I would never put them through this insanity.

I'm a teacher too and I agree with you. I teach acceptance and kindness without getting into the examples these people do. It's not necessary in an elementary school.

Parents need to attend school meetings, choose good spokesperson and that fails, get your children to a safe place. The children come first. The family, not the state, are the childrens care givers. As a group the parents must visibly stand together.
