I love Ultimate. I feel like this is the most diverse that a high-top tier character roster has ever been in a Smash game. We're constantly seeing a large variety of characters for a large variety of different playstyles. It's so fascinating!

That happened in the beginning of every iteration's lifespan but as time goes on there will be alot less diversity and it will be like smash 4 again "everyone picks only top tier"
YoungsterChris for fuck’s sake, you guys have to complain about SOMEthing. At the start of the game it was pika and inkling, later everyone was saying peach was busted, two weeks ago everyone was saying snake and Olimar would be the only characters seen in top 8, now it’s “swordies unga bunga lul.” The constantly repeating pattern is that the meta progresses and every tournament has a completely different top 8. So, for now, JUST ENJOY THE GODDAMN DIVERSITY. Stop begging for it to get worse, I don’t understand what you gain from that.
doesnt work at high level. u can recover below the counter or above. u cancel charging side b just before hitting them with side b on stage if they counter and then u are in advantage since the hit doesnt come out
@@Jemso999999999 His up b can still get countered if he's high or if he misses the sweet spot. There was a couple times where he was high and tweek could have run under the up b with a counter and killed him for it, or when he might not have sweet spotted where he could have gotten countered. It's obviously not free against a good Ike, but it's still useful and Tweek didn't use it at all.
@@Jemso999999999 On the same note actually Marss could have countered Tweeks recovery a couple of times as well. He had no jump and had to up b and Marss just let him come back and tried to ledge trap him instead.
Top 3 smash players all have sword emblem char mains. Leo with Lucina, Tweek with Roy, n Marss with Ike. Now, we just need Nairo n Samsora main Chrom n Marth...
Leo mains Joker and has said he's not playing Lucina except in very specific matchups he thinks Joker can't do, but he doesn't even think Lucina is top tier and he thinks Joker is top 10. Tweek basically just uses Roy as a pocket specifically for Marss ZSS and Ike. Swordies are definitely good pocket characters or secondaries to have if you play a character with lower range or no offstage game. But they aren't crazy good to he a main or solo main. That's why Leo got blown up in Japan, even he said so.
damn ok i know i'm late but its in between "ee" and "ay," as the original first character in the word Aether was originally an A and an E stuck together as one character, which meant a sound in between "ay" and "ee"
Can I say to people complain about sword characters the ones we mostly seeing are Roy Ike Lucina Link Crom characters we wanted to see/wanted at high play . And with fe characters having majority I think there are more Mario and pokemon characters then fe characters
