Momoiro no kagi has quickly become one of my favorite MMJ comms and comms in general. Airi and MMJ as a whole are fascinating characters that have grown so much and still have so much more growing to do. The use of morse code especially fascinated me, and this analysis was just wonderful.

I adore the MV so much! The switching between the normal stage and the black-white towards the end of the video is so interesting and unique, having Airi switch with haste between her past (the stage with the doors) and her unknown present+future (which is why that space is black and white, she doesn't know what will happen next, so she confidently moves forward). I don't know how to express into words how entertaining the MV is, the camera work is perfect, the choreography is cute, but the black and white stage has to be my favourite addition. It represents the twitching feelings of everyone (shown by the regular switch between reality and their feelings), and it acts like an official music video (I'm talking about irl melodies sang by celebrities), where the singer switches between places (through editing the scenes, which MMJ is currently doing: they are editing their future). People should talk more about this MV, its whole idea and center are refreshing, and the artist made a phenomenal job composing the lyrics and the instrumental. Your analysis was on point, as always!

Momoiro key was the first song i heard from them but then i listened to kyu kurarin. And Im like, eyup, perfect producer for mmj. I couldn't explain in words why tho, mainly because of my lack of music theory, so Im happy that you pointed out their style! I’m not familiar with the story, but by what you described.. perhaps Airi being in front of the train with a bag in hand could represent her leaving her classmates? (Because she’s about to go on the train) And the theme of the event is very 1960s France, perhaps MMJ going on the train represents them moving from the past and moving to the future. :) Love the Puyo Puyo music btw LMAO
