Steve Allen's facial expressions are so funny, and I just love his tendency to ask questions that elicit hilarious mental images! He and Arlene were simply delightful in this game.
I've been watching a few episodes over the last month. I love this show. A yes, Steve Allen's, reactions when the audience are hysterical is classic. I've watched so many with him.
If a retailer is big enough to have a buyer the buyer does not generally have any direct involvment in selling the item. They may research how well a product sells, get the best price for a product in order for the company to sell but do not generally "sell" the item. Also, dont think of this in today's job market. Since then companies have cut down and combined jobs where today's buyer in some companies would not fit the term "buyer" at the time of this show.
Usually when they guess the product Daly lets the panel off the hook without them getting the specific occupation. I like how he knew he had them & let it go on to ring up the cash for the contestant.
